Chapter 027 The Set-up

There was a note of urgency in Mr. Seth's voice, one that immediately made me forget my annoyance with Gerald. I moved the phone to my other ear and asked, "What's the problem?"

What he said next hit me like a bolt out of the blue!

"What!" I exclaimed. "Can you repeat that?"

The hotel manager did as I asked. My palms suddenly became sweaty. I was disoriented, but I managed to say, "I will be right there. Just hold them for now."
