Chapter 18: The Plan

I woke up, expecting to see someone by my side, but to no avail. I just had one of the best sleep that I've had for a while now, and I was looking forward to seeing Hera when I opened my eyes.

Based on yesterday’s events, I thought that we had built a new connection, but I have to reconsider that thought now. I guess some things really need more time to change.

Although I didn’t want to get up, I forced myself to go to the bathroom and get ready for the day. I have to brief the pack leaders and warriors about the recent rogue sightings near our area.

I walked towards the training grounds and saw them sparring against each other. The moment they felt my presence, they halted their movements and arranged themselves in an orderly manner.
