5 years went by and I never saw the man I had slept with that night again. Even when I tried calling him to tell him the news, I was disconnected soon after. I found out in the news that he had begun

dating Maeve and that he was planning to make her his Luna. That had hurt me a lot more than I thought it did. I hadn't tried contacting my family since that day either. They had cut off all means of

communication to me.

"Mama!"I turned as Finn ran toward me holding a Lego toy in his hands.

"What is it, baby?"I cooed as I lifted him in my arms.

"Mummy, Rey broke my toy" he cried

“I’m o sorry about that honey, I'll make sure that I get you a new one okay?"I promised him which comforted him.

That was when Nora towards me frantically.

“Mama what about me?”, she cried out.

Unable to resist, I carried her up as well, placing her on my other lap.

“Don’t worry baby. I'll get you yours as well."I promised.

"Uncle Rick!" we turned in the direction of the door where Rey was wrappe
