MasukAlejandra's POV
He threw the bottle unexpectedly, shattering it on the floor, then calmly walked toward me. My gaze was fixed on his feet stepping on the broken pieces of his bottle. There was a trail of blood there, and I could almost feel the other emotions he was experiencing. There was anger, despair, and disappointment. What was really going on? Why do I feel like I'm in the same body as him? He suddenly grabbed my arm, shoving me roughly and pinning me down beneath him. His gaze seemed to strip me bare, but not in a good way. If he did it tonight, I was sure it was just a manifestation of his anger towards me. He had to punish me for his mate's death. "Tell me, Ale, what happened there?" he asked, startling me. "What were you doing and why did you kill her?" "I... you believe I killed her, Kyle?" I asked back after stammering for a long time due to his absurd question. Me? Kill Lex? Has everyone gone crazy? "Then whose dagger is this?" Kyle held up an object in his hand. There were dried bloodstains on it, and I remembered that it was the blood of one of the rogues who attacked us. The dagger was stuck in his arm before he managed to attack me. "Your birthmark is here. This... is yours, right?" "It's mine, but I didn't kill her." We were never close—not this close, at least, and for some reason, the desperate look in his eyes, the rise and fall of his chest showing his anger, and the warm breath that touched my skin caused a strange vibration in my chest. A strange scent—not the familiar scent of his perfume, but something stronger and different—began to swirl in my nostrils. I didn't know what this feeling was, but it was really disturbing. "Let me go, Kyle. I never meant to hurt her," I said firmly. He smiled crookedly, revealing two fangs that could have torn me apart right then and there. However, he didn't. "What reason would I have to do that?" "Because you're jealous of her." "Not at all. I know I'm not better than her. She's... she's perfect, while I'm not." "You're right. And she has a perfect man like me, while you, who's always wanted me, can only stare blankly at us making love. Why didn't you leave then?" "What?" "Don't pretend you don't know, Ale. You watched us make love from beginning to end, then what? Did you touch yourself afterwards?" "Shut up!" He was right. I saw them doing it and my chest hurt. I never believed that Lex and Kyle were mates because I felt it... the feeling I feel now... I've felt it for a long time and when I asked Mom, she said that it was a mate sign. It's impossible for an Alpha to mate with two women, right? There's never been a case like this before, or am I just unaware? "I... it was an accident." "Liar! You enjoyed it. I know it." "How could you know?" I challenged. If he said he felt what I felt, it meant... we really were mates. But what about Lex? Wasn't Lex Kyle's mate? "You're right. The one I felt enjoying it was Lex. It was great sex, and you look like this..." He smirked again, making me feel even lower. "Say you want me." Kyle's gaze suddenly softened, making me gasp. "Say you murdered Lex because you wanted me!" he snapped, grabbing my wrist. "I. Never. Killed her!" I said. "I wanted you—yes! But I never murdered my sister!" "Liar!" Kyle pulled at the evening gown I was wearing, leaving a wide tear that exposed my chest, and greedily—or perhaps in a fit of rage—he ripped it all off, leaving nothing on me. He took off his clothes, forcing me to give him access to enter me, but I refused. Everyone had warned me that the first time would be almost like dying, and they were right. Kyle thrust his manhood inside me roughly, causing an incredible sensation of tearing and pain. I couldn't move because he held my hands tightly and continued to thrust it inside me. I screamed loudly, begging him to stop. He didn't budge but continued. Relentlessly. Mercilessly. Then, not long after the torture began, several women entered without knocking. They were wearing the same evening gowns as me, walked towards Kyle, and took over my role. Kyle, lustfully caressing those women. In front of me. Without feeling, because he never had any for me. I turned my face away. The pain was intense, like sharp nails clawing at my heart and squeezing it until it almost burst. However, Kyle signaled to the women to come closer to me, pull me onto the bed, and tie me there. "No, Kyle, let me go!" I screamed, feeling my chest start to heat up from Kyle's touch on the hostesses. Kyle didn't seem to care. He continued to kiss and fondle the women, and his final words brought me even more pain. "Tonight is our wedding night, Alejandra. Yes. But now it's your turn to be the audience. Watch what we do and you can't look away for even a second," he said, sounds heartless. And the nightmare began with unbearable pain as I had to watch Kyle have sex with those women all night long. The pain wasn't just in my intimate area from what he had done a few minutes earlier, but it spread to my chest with a burning sensation that made me keep moaning, begging Kyle to let me go, but he never cared. He did it tonight, tomorrow, and for several nights afterward, with me... as the spectator.Alejandra’s POVThe doorbell rang just as I was preparing food for Lilia. Grandma was already at the door, holding Lilia’s hand. I rushed over to hug Grandma, and then Lilia immediately clung to my arm.I could see their smiles light up when they arrived, and Lilia was excited to find out what I had cooked for her.“Aunt Shenna is a great cook. Your fried chicken is so delicious,” praised Lilia, who still called me by the nickname I used to go by—that’s how Lilia and I first met.“Really?” I asked. She nodded. “So, what score would you give me?”She looked thoughtful, then held up both hands with all ten fingers.“Wow... a perfect score!” I exclaimed, then pulled her into a hug. “Do you want Auntie to cook something else for you tomorrow?”Her eyes widened. “Tomorrow? You mean... I’ll be staying here?” She turned to look at Grandma. “Great-Grandma, is it true I’ll be staying with Dad, Aunt Shenna, and Baby Brother?” she asked, and Grandma nodded with a smile.“As long as you promise n
Benjamin’s POVI waited for Ale to return to the penthouse, but even as morning broke, there was no sign of her coming through the door, and that had me overly worried. What if she’d been attacked by rogues, just like she had been before?Even though she now has special abilities, as Jeremiah said, I still can’t just ignore it. Protecting her is my duty, so no matter who she is now, I still have to make sure she’s okay.I was all set and about to head to work, but she still hadn’t shown up. I opened the door to her room to check on Antares and nearly stumbled backward when I saw her lying on the bed while breastfeeding Antares.“A-Ale?” I said, still in shock. My heart nearly stopped when I realized she was at home without me even noticing.I’d been keeping watch at the front door all night, and there wasn’t a single sign of her coming. Did she come in through the upper terrace? But... how could that be? She’s not a spider-woman, is she?“What’s wrong, Ben?” she asked, turning toward
Alejandra’s POVMy body feels like it’s on fire. I’ve been letting it go on for quite a while because, as far as I know, it’s related to my heat cycle or something else I’ve been experiencing lately.Jeremiah didn’t say anything when I asked him. He just told me to be careful, even if I chose to go out alone in the middle of the night. Now I’m trying not to go anywhere. Ben might find out about this habit of mine, and I don’t want him to worry. So, I asked the maid to prepare a tub filled with water and ice cubes, then soaked myself in it for quite a while until everything felt better. As a result, I got sleepy easily. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long. When I felt the heat return, I found Ben was already in the penthouse, and suppressing everything I felt in front of him felt like torture. We have sex quite often. So if just because of this heat—whose cause I can’t predict—I have to have sex all the time, I don’t think that’s a good thing.I stood in a forest that felt empty and was
Benjamin’s POVKyle is starting to realize that Alea isn’t really Alea. I can’t guarantee that she’s actually my ex-wife, but claiming she’s Lex would be reckless.Especially now. She’s insulting Ale, my beloved mate—the one I’d destroy the world for just to have her all to myself.I remember all too well how Kyle used to hurt her; tormenting her soul. Could I possibly forget and cooperate without any sense of vengeance? The answer is, not at all.If Jeremiah can do it because of his mature and wise nature, it seems I’m not the right person to follow his plan. You must be wondering, then why have I been trying all this time to convince Ale that I’m on the accepting side. Because I don’t want to see her sad. She is everything to me—even if I had to destroy Kyle, if it made her smile, I would do it.“Everything follows my rules,” he said when the curator’s evaluation indicated that his proposal was the best.He thought I didn’t know that he’d approached that man and paid him a fantastic
Kyle's POVShit! How could that woman be here? Even though I never really believed Alea and Lex were the same person—especially since Lex was always putting on a show—finding Alea in this room with a calm expression after she’d been missing for several days was something I never could have imagined. So, where has she been all this time if she and Lex are different people? If she really went somewhere, why didn’t she say a word, and instead just show up out of nowhere like a ghost?“W-what are you doing here, Alea?” I asked. Alea didn’t answer right away; instead, she turned to Ben, who was sitting across from me.“You’re here, Ben?” she asked, looking surprised but calm. “What are you two doing? Are you in business again?”“Yes. We’ve just started this business. I hope you can join us in this. You’re good at interior design. Maybe you can work with Ale later,” Ben replied, just as calm, as if facing Alea wasn’t a terrifying thing for him.But clearly, if Lex isn’t Alea and she’s even
Benjamin’s POVI sat across from Kyle, who was ready with his files in front of him, just like me. Beside us, right in the middle between Kyle and me, sat a business consultant who had already reviewed our joint project proposal—examining its profitability, systems, and other aspects.Kyle looked confident in what he was doing. So did I. I didn’t see this collaboration as a burden because, whatever the outcome, the goal was for Ale and Lyra’s sake.“I’ve reviewed both of your proposals, and they’re both impressive. I can’t decide easily. However, I must choose one, as per your agreement,” said the curator.I nodded and waited for the results of the review he was about to announce.“After careful consideration, the proposal with the higher profit margin is Mr. Thunder’s, Thunder Company.” He pointed at Kyle, and I think I had already anticipated this would happen. As a businessman who has been building and running this business for a long time, accepting defeat is the bare minimum, so
Alejandra's POV"Miss! Please let me come with you. It will be very dangerous for you to go alone. You don't know—""Ssh! Be quiet, Ramia! Your voice will alert the others to my departure," I replied, then lifted my legs, hooking them over some holes in the fence wall, then carefully focused all my
Alejandra’s POV "Miss... don't worry about what Jeremiah said. He must have seen it wrong," said Ramia as we were on our way home. I couldn't stay silent. He had insulted me by accusing me of killing Lex and then saying that Lexy was still alive. If he intended to play a joke on me or make light o
Alejandra's POVJeremiah took out his equipment and examined me carefully, just like a normal doctor would. However, that couldn't shake my image of him as a psychic. He performed an ultrasound scan with the equipment he had brought with him, confirming that I wasn't pregnant after my tense wedding
Benjamin's POVShe reminded me of someone who had long since disappeared from my life, leaving behind a single memory that still lingered. Her beauty surpassed that of the Moon Goddess, or any other goddess she worshipped. Unfortunately, she was in the wrong hands."Have you heard the news, Drake?"
