MasukAlejandra's POV
I woke up with my hands and feet tied. I couldn't find Kyle in our room, only other traces that I didn't understand. This was truly beyond my imagination. If he didn't want to touch me because of the grudge he still held against me for, according to him, killing my twin sister, that felt much better. But he did. He touched me. He fucked me. I still felt pain in my core. The slightest movement made me feel like I was going to die. Even though several days had passed, the torture continued. So did the pain in another part of me—my heart. It was true, it hurt. But why did Lex seem to enjoy it so much when Kyle was fuck her? She moaned, even crying out Kyle's name loudly before they finally stopped and fell asleep in each other's arms. Damn it! I can't shake that memory at all. After witnessing them having sex, I started to distance myself from Lex and Kyle. But there's another story behind all this, that Kyle and I were childhood friends. He... I think he loved me sincerely before Lex appeared after successfully completing her training as a warrior. Don't ask me why I didn't go with her. According to our pack rules, only those who have got a wolf are allowed to undergo training, which is why I stayed in the pack while Lex traveled from one pack to another to learn how to fight. As I said before, she would become the successor to the pack leader. A source of pride. The real Luna. I tugged at my handcuffs, hoping someone would come and unlock them, until soon a servant hurried over and unlocked the thing that bound my wrists and was attached to the headboard. "Thank you..." I said to the servant. She nodded, then moved away as if to give me access to get down. However, I couldn't. "Are you still in pain?" asked the servant, which startled me and made me frown. "I'm sorry, Miss. Rumors are spreading that you did it with Alpha Kyle and several other men. I'm sorry for being so bold. I only heard the story from word of mouth." It was impossible for those rumors to spread if they didn't come from Kyle. "It's okay. But... that's not the whole story," I replied, then got off and stood up slowly. "So it's true that you're a virgin?" she said again, as if it were something surprising. Or perhaps... humiliating. "So what if I am?" "I've heard that the Alpha's descendant will come from a virgin. However, as far as I know, it's not Miss Alexis, because she often sleeps with many men." "Enough," I said, stopping her. Not only because I didn't like her badmouthing my sister—I already knew about that—but because I would never believe any rumors I heard about my relationship or any myths between me and Kyle. It was totally bullshit. "Are you my personal servant?" She nodded. "Yes, Miss. They appointed me to be your servant. My name is Ramia." "Okay, Ramia. I need you to get ready. Where's Alpha Kyle?" I asked, and she looked startled when she saw someone at the doorway. "I-I'll help you get ready now. Your bath will be ready soon, Miss. Excuse me." Ramia left just like that, and the man whose arrival I hadn't expected stepped in with his usual expressionless face. He was cold, but attentive. Unfortunately, that wasn't the character he showed me this time. "What else do you want?" I asked without flinching. No matter how strong or powerful he was, I was never afraid, except that I wanted to get away and never have anything to do with him again. "You got what you wanted." "What I wanted? What do you know about what I want?" He asked back. "I didn't even enjoy fucking you that night." "Then what do you want? You were the one who married me, and now... at least, there's no need to spread rumors that I slept with—" I couldn't continue because his hand was now on my jaw, gripping me tightly. "Be quiet and get ready. Put on a sweet face and a charming smile in front of everyone. Imagine that our marriage, as well as our sex that night, was the best." The best? No. It was the worst sex I'd ever had, even though it was my first time. He wasn't as great as I'd imagined. Lex must have been lying at the time. She deliberately shouted loudly as if Kyle was an incredible sex maniac. The fact was I often heard Lex talk about how fierce the men she slept with were, but that didn't happen when she did it with Kyle. I don't know if she deliberately kept her relationship with Kyle private, or... "Answer me!" Kyle jerked, startling me. "O-okay." "Good. And one more thing. Don't you dare contradict anything I say in front of everyone." What is this? Is he threatening me because he wants to start another rumor? Who said I spent our wedding night with a bunch of men? Now he wants me to say that our sex was amazing. Does he have a split personality? "Whatever." There were many things I wanted to ask him, but not now. My body was too tired, and facing a crowd would only drain my energy further. I got ready because Kyle didn't seem to want to leave the room until I was completely ready to go downstairs with him. I quickened my pace and soaked in the bathtub that my maid had prepared. I can say she's the best. I came out of the bathroom and found Kyle sitting on the sofa, watching a television broadcast that I noticed was showing the news of Lex's death. I immediately grabbed the remote and changed the channel. "What the fuck are you doing?" Kyle asked, his face red, getting up from the sofa and grabbing my arm tightly. "Are you hiding something?" I shook my head. "There's no point in continuing to watch the news. Everything they're showing is a lie. I never killed Lex. I swear!" With unexpected speed, Kyle moved, pushing me and pinning me against the wall while grabbing my jaw. "Don't you ever dare yell at me, wolfless. Just do what you have to do as my wife until everything is proven true." "Why don't you just kill me if you really believe that I am Lex's murderer," I challenged. He just grinned. "If you are proven guilty, a quick death is not a fair solution." His face darkened in seconds after saying that, and with flashing red eyes he stared at me. "She was raped there, torn apart, abused, and was murdered sadistically. Should her killer be free just by dying?" He shook his head. "Of course not, Ale. No. And death is not appropriate for you." I stared at his retreating back after he released me, lost in thought, before finally preparing myself as he had requested and stepping into the large room where the members had gathered, who immediately gave me strange looks when I was in front of them. I looked at each of them. Without a smile. Because that's what they did to me. I saw fierce stares in their eyes, except for one standing near the main door. I couldn't recognize her, who looked like a watcher—wearing a beautiful dress and a hood that covered most of her face. Except for her red lips, which curled into a cynical smile. Unexpectedly, something flew towards me and even though I didn't have time to dodge, the shot missed. An arrow stuck right behind my back and left a scratch on my left arm, as if to warn me something. No one reacted except Kyle, who looked surprised. He got up, pulled out the arrow, then frowned. He looked around as if scanning everyone present. However, it seemed that no one else was aware of the incident. "We want a Luna, not a murderer!" shouted one of the members, followed by the shouts of the others. "We want a Luna, not a whore!" Others shouted other things, and I just turned to Kyle, whose expression had suddenly changed. No? Was it really not him who spread the rumor? He even seemed to dislike their statements, especially when they said the word "whore." I could see it from the way his brow furrowed and his expression turned fierce. If not him, then who spread it? My eyes scanned the room, searching for the woman in the hooded dress. She wasn't there. She was nowhere to be found, as if she had vanished into thin air. Who was she really?Alejandra’s POVThe doorbell rang just as I was preparing food for Lilia. Grandma was already at the door, holding Lilia’s hand. I rushed over to hug Grandma, and then Lilia immediately clung to my arm.I could see their smiles light up when they arrived, and Lilia was excited to find out what I had cooked for her.“Aunt Shenna is a great cook. Your fried chicken is so delicious,” praised Lilia, who still called me by the nickname I used to go by—that’s how Lilia and I first met.“Really?” I asked. She nodded. “So, what score would you give me?”She looked thoughtful, then held up both hands with all ten fingers.“Wow... a perfect score!” I exclaimed, then pulled her into a hug. “Do you want Auntie to cook something else for you tomorrow?”Her eyes widened. “Tomorrow? You mean... I’ll be staying here?” She turned to look at Grandma. “Great-Grandma, is it true I’ll be staying with Dad, Aunt Shenna, and Baby Brother?” she asked, and Grandma nodded with a smile.“As long as you promise n
Benjamin’s POVI waited for Ale to return to the penthouse, but even as morning broke, there was no sign of her coming through the door, and that had me overly worried. What if she’d been attacked by rogues, just like she had been before?Even though she now has special abilities, as Jeremiah said, I still can’t just ignore it. Protecting her is my duty, so no matter who she is now, I still have to make sure she’s okay.I was all set and about to head to work, but she still hadn’t shown up. I opened the door to her room to check on Antares and nearly stumbled backward when I saw her lying on the bed while breastfeeding Antares.“A-Ale?” I said, still in shock. My heart nearly stopped when I realized she was at home without me even noticing.I’d been keeping watch at the front door all night, and there wasn’t a single sign of her coming. Did she come in through the upper terrace? But... how could that be? She’s not a spider-woman, is she?“What’s wrong, Ben?” she asked, turning toward
Alejandra’s POVMy body feels like it’s on fire. I’ve been letting it go on for quite a while because, as far as I know, it’s related to my heat cycle or something else I’ve been experiencing lately.Jeremiah didn’t say anything when I asked him. He just told me to be careful, even if I chose to go out alone in the middle of the night. Now I’m trying not to go anywhere. Ben might find out about this habit of mine, and I don’t want him to worry. So, I asked the maid to prepare a tub filled with water and ice cubes, then soaked myself in it for quite a while until everything felt better. As a result, I got sleepy easily. Unfortunately, it didn’t last long. When I felt the heat return, I found Ben was already in the penthouse, and suppressing everything I felt in front of him felt like torture. We have sex quite often. So if just because of this heat—whose cause I can’t predict—I have to have sex all the time, I don’t think that’s a good thing.I stood in a forest that felt empty and was
Benjamin’s POVKyle is starting to realize that Alea isn’t really Alea. I can’t guarantee that she’s actually my ex-wife, but claiming she’s Lex would be reckless.Especially now. She’s insulting Ale, my beloved mate—the one I’d destroy the world for just to have her all to myself.I remember all too well how Kyle used to hurt her; tormenting her soul. Could I possibly forget and cooperate without any sense of vengeance? The answer is, not at all.If Jeremiah can do it because of his mature and wise nature, it seems I’m not the right person to follow his plan. You must be wondering, then why have I been trying all this time to convince Ale that I’m on the accepting side. Because I don’t want to see her sad. She is everything to me—even if I had to destroy Kyle, if it made her smile, I would do it.“Everything follows my rules,” he said when the curator’s evaluation indicated that his proposal was the best.He thought I didn’t know that he’d approached that man and paid him a fantastic
Kyle's POVShit! How could that woman be here? Even though I never really believed Alea and Lex were the same person—especially since Lex was always putting on a show—finding Alea in this room with a calm expression after she’d been missing for several days was something I never could have imagined. So, where has she been all this time if she and Lex are different people? If she really went somewhere, why didn’t she say a word, and instead just show up out of nowhere like a ghost?“W-what are you doing here, Alea?” I asked. Alea didn’t answer right away; instead, she turned to Ben, who was sitting across from me.“You’re here, Ben?” she asked, looking surprised but calm. “What are you two doing? Are you in business again?”“Yes. We’ve just started this business. I hope you can join us in this. You’re good at interior design. Maybe you can work with Ale later,” Ben replied, just as calm, as if facing Alea wasn’t a terrifying thing for him.But clearly, if Lex isn’t Alea and she’s even
Benjamin’s POVI sat across from Kyle, who was ready with his files in front of him, just like me. Beside us, right in the middle between Kyle and me, sat a business consultant who had already reviewed our joint project proposal—examining its profitability, systems, and other aspects.Kyle looked confident in what he was doing. So did I. I didn’t see this collaboration as a burden because, whatever the outcome, the goal was for Ale and Lyra’s sake.“I’ve reviewed both of your proposals, and they’re both impressive. I can’t decide easily. However, I must choose one, as per your agreement,” said the curator.I nodded and waited for the results of the review he was about to announce.“After careful consideration, the proposal with the higher profit margin is Mr. Thunder’s, Thunder Company.” He pointed at Kyle, and I think I had already anticipated this would happen. As a businessman who has been building and running this business for a long time, accepting defeat is the bare minimum, so
AlejandraShe looked weak. Her clothes were tattered, with bruises on several parts of her body. Her hair, which used to be so beautiful and well-groomed, her curvaceous body, and her lovely face that was always adored like the Moon Goddess, were all gone. All that remained was a frail woman who lo
Alejandra's POVA grand party, guests in fancy clothes, their class evident. Here I am. I should be on Kyle's arm, as his wife, or maybe even his Luna. But I'm not. He would never saw me as it should be.I don't feel insecure, because I'm also pure alpha descendant, even if it's not obvious.Severa
Alejandra's POVIs he crazy? He's talking to another man's wife and he's on someone else's territory. Isn't he afraid that the whole pack will attack him?I didn't answer, but slapped him across the face. He didn't seem surprised. He only seemed to be rubbing the red mark left by the slap, while I
Alejandra’s POV A handsome face that glowed like the light of the Moon Goddess, a pair of gray eyes as bright as the moon, looked at me softly and warmly. His two strong arms caught and supported me, holding my arms so I wouldn't fall because I had hit him so hard.We accidentally made eye contact
