Chapter 51-Side Story-24 hours with you-Charles and Carolyn

Zayne, me, and the kids pull up to the gorgeous victorian house sitting atop a lake. There are multiple cars parked outside, so I can assume all my friends already arrived. We are all here for the weekend because mom and dad are renewing their vows. They never had a proper wedding after they got hitched in Vegas with only Elvis as their witness. So now they will do it with their friends and family watching.
“Beautiful," Zayne says as he admires the scenery of the green trees and the lake.
"It is something." I agree. He turns to me and smiles.
"It's the perfect place for a wedding; it just makes me want to get down on my knees and ask you to marry me again.” He takes my hand and kisses it. No matter how many years it's been, he still gives me butterflies with a smile or a simple touch.
“You already proposed twice, Hani.”
