Camilla/Nora’s POV

“Remove her womb? No..... No, that’s not possible. There must be another way around

it!” He choked on his words, struggling to accept reality.

“I’m afraid there is no other way, Mr. Steve. Time is not on our side, and we need to act fast. Further delay can cause the unexpected. I hope you understand what I mean, sir?" Doctor Kyle urged, his tone pressing.

Steve stumbled, his breathing ragged as he ran his hand through his hair in frustration.

"No... No, she wouldn't be in support of this. She has always wanted kids...... more kids," he whispered, his lips quivered. He just shot himself in the leg and he didn't even realize that. I rose to my feet, with the aim of taunting him in his most turbulent moment.

"She always wanted kids? How did you know that, Steve? And what do you mean by more kids? Does she have a child I do not know of?" I walked up to him, staring at him intently.

His body stiffened and the tension between us thickened.
