Delilah saw her father right when she was on the altar.

In front of Nathaniel, her companion, she stood without a smile. Behind the veil, her eyes secretly searched for her father but it was hard since Nathaniel was watching everything.

She wasn't afraid of it. But it embarrassed her.

However, she saw her father soon among many people as he slightly smiled at her. It was then, she became happy, and that's how they completed all the rituals and beliefs.

She was eager to end her meeting with his sisters and go to her father.

She couldn't hide from herself but his sisters didn't give her good vibes. No matter if one of them was pretty and had angelic features, she too seemed very mysterious to her.

But Delilah kept this thing to herself and didn't want to ponder much over it.

It would help to have his POV alternating with hers. Maybe could have gotten a reason he cheated first time. It would help flow of story having his POV more often.

He was crazy about a Greek beauty too but still you never asked the first time he cheated and got explanation you should be worried if he will be a faithful husband or commit adultery. I despise cheating/adultery. If he’s a manwhore and commits adultery i’m done. I don’t read that trope.
