Chapter 25. A detour of fate

Everyone knew about the special relationship between  Master Aldrich and the young guardian under his care, and although it made some of them question the judgement of the man, it wasn’t to the point they would dare to voice their thoughts… especially not after witnessing how he’d single-handedly defeated the demon that had attacked the camp two days ago.
