Chapter 36 Jameson

Jameson's POV

I held his hand as we stood by the door, he took a few deep breaths before stepping forward with me and walking outside.

I could tell he had mixed feelings about this. I could see that he was excited about going outside for the first time. But I could also see how afraid he was. He was scared, he's never been outside, at least not like this.

Sure, he was outside for goddess only knows how long. But he wasn't free, he was locked up in some makeshift cage basically.

He wasn't able to go for a walk or shift. He said he's only shifted once, and that was when he turned 16.

He said he hasn't shifted since.

That means this will probably feel more like a first shift. If he's truly only shifted once, and it was when he turned 16. And he's 19 now.... This will definitely be just like a first shift then.

But he needs to do it. The more he does it, the easier it will get.
