Dance Club

I woke up to the sound of my alarm. Last night Cole locked himself in his room, so I figured he needed space.

I rolled out of bed before grabbing a towel. I took a quick shower and when I was done I went back to my room. I got dressed in my cheer outfit and some white Nike shoes. I tied my hair into a ponytail before applying some cream to my face.

I grabbed my backpack before leaving my room and going downstairs.

"Good morning Uncle Ian," I said before sitting down by the kitchen island.

"Good morning, Liv." He greeted me while his focus remained on the scrambled eggs he was making.

"Have you spoken to Cole, yet?" I asked carefully and he looked up at me.

"No, why?" He asked blankly.

"Because you're his dad and he was clearly feeling bad last night," I said and Uncle Ian sighed.

"What gives you that idea?" Uncle Ian asked in confusion.

"This is going to sound rude, but it's not. Have you ever talked to Cole about his mom?" I asked and Uncle Ian frowned at me.
