Time Knows No Mercy

I was sitting on the comfy couch next to Coles hospital bed with a book in my hand. A week has gone by and I feel a little better now but I still feel a lot of pain when my medication wears off.

Cole still hasn't woken up but at least the doctor's sounds hopeful now. "Any day now." Is what they would tell me when they pass me and nurse Lucy in the hallway. I like the nurse that takes care of me, she's kind, gentle and understanding.

Apparently I can go home tomorrow. Which in other words means that I won't be able to see Cole everyday. Because I'd have to be on bed rest.

And if that's the case I'd much rather just stay here with Cole until he wakes up.
