Her eyes snapped open in shock. "How dare you talk back to me? You are fired!" Emily yelled fiercely, trembling with rage, her voice sounding boisterously in the hallway.

I felt my lungs grip with terror. I can't let my thirst for revenge ruin my plans.

I needed to be with my family. I sucked in my breath, immediately bowing my head in submission. "I'm sorry, ma'am. I just wanted to inform you about the necessary information you needed to know. I'm sorry if I stepped on my boundaries," I pleaded, immediately gnawing my tongue with my teeth. The moon goddess knows how I want to rip this witch apart. She swiveled her piercing gaze towards Lambert and sneered, "So you brought this... thing to insult me?" Her tiny, high-pitched voice was sharp enough to draw blood from someone's ear.

Lambert threw his hands to his forehead, caressing his temples gently. He seemed weary. "Please, Emily, when will you stop? Please, I need to take her to her room right now."
