The sound of the low growl sent tremors through my body, and I felt my feet stamp on the floor.

I tightened my shaking hands around my phone, tracing my little fingers to the power button to turn on the phone screen lights.

But it seemed the phone battery had died.

Lambert warned me vividly not to go out, but I didn't listen.
