The only thought I have for now was to protect Rosalina Faye Carter. I am cent percent sure that bounty of Italian Mafia appeared on her head because of me.
Was it because I offered her the job of Vice President, Trade and Operations, Augustus Corporation or was it because I was spending too much time with her? Whatever the reason I was the common denominator.
I can't just sit still and let her face the consequences of my actions. I need to do something and fast. For now, I just need reassure myself that I will be able to protect her.
My phone pinged indicating the arrival of important email. Only few people have access to my work and personal email. Nina, my head secretary being one of them.
The email was a forward from Rose. The very cause of my worry for the time being.

Grande Ospedale Metropolitano NiguardaMilan, Italy General's POV: Rosalina Faye Carter was admitted to one of the best room in one of the best hospitals in Italy by the security squad assigned for her by Adam Augustus. The squad was on extra guard after the mishap that happened last time. Four retired members of forze armate Italiane were recruited in the squad and all the eight members were auxiliary vigilant. Two were guarding the hospital room and other six were spread throughout the hospital to keep a check on any suspicious activity. My clothe were a wrinkled mess and the events of last night hit me, making me want to go back to sleep. Why did this happen to me? This question kept hovering on my mind.
