The twins had persistently stuffed me full with Jade’s chicken soup and now they were starting to move on to other courses. I could see Cole’s eyes glaring at me, green with envy as he mindlessly chewed on something in his mouth. The woman curled around him was no longer by his side, probably off to find a better company.
