56. Grumpy

I laid on the bed half awake, but struggling to go back to sleep. I felt like I was at peace. I could feel someone nudging me quietly to come awake but I ignored, holding on to that last bit of sleep for dear life. I shut my eyes tighter to block them but suddenly, I felt the blanket as it was pulled away from my skin, letting the cold air kiss my skin.

I opened my eyes, already pissed at whoever dared to disrupt my rest. I saw Gwaine standing at the foot of the bed, my blanket in his hand. I frowned instantly.

“I know you heard me call your name.” He said, folding the blanket and tossing it to a corner of the bed.

“I know you saw me sleeping.” I replied, matching his attitude.

“Come to think of it, why do you think it’s okay to disrupt my happiness? You dislike me that much?” I added, not giving him time to answer any question before adding another.
