“ Oh wow. ” Tyson huffed as we came across the scene before us.

He placed his arm in front of my stomach and pushed me a little back so I was not in the line of fire.

My eyes zeroed in on the wolves in the distance, fighting the random vampires and humans.

Smacking my forehead with my palm, I searched for Striker. It was not too hard to find the magenta-glowing wolf in the middle of it all, spitting fire through his eyes and nose and his whole body. The vampires coming his way were all shredded to pieces without delay, as if he ran through the field, not sparing anyone.

“ If he can do that…” Tyson grinned. “ what do you think I can do, Lenora? ”

“ How are you so calm?! We are in the middle of a battlefield? ” I groaned, too close to smacking him in the back of his head.

“ This is just a brawl. ” Tyson rolled his eyes dramatically. “ if you think this is war, I suggest you never come to a real battlefield. You will just faint with shock. ”
