Anastasia's POV.“Brother, it's not what it looks like!” The female vamp, who I now knew as Drusilla, exclaimed.I stared back at the man at the entrance and saw that he had a striking resemblance with her, but his look wasn't something to be worried about now. I should be praying he doesn't zoom over here and slit my throat with his claws.“You're speaking with a werewolf, uhn?” He snarls, glaring at my new friend, his sockets taking a dark hue, giving him an eerie appearance.“What do you think father would say about this?” He asked. His question seemed like threats and I was beginning to wonder if they were truly siblings. Siblings I knew wouldn't threaten one another like this.“Dexter please, just listen.” Drusilla said in a pleading tone. I had to help by turning a pleading gaze at him. I knew what would happen if he were to tell their father about my presence. By my guess, he'll be an Original and trust me, no one will be stupid enough to piss any of their kind off.Tension hun

Anastasia's POV.Honestly, Drusilla is such a crazy young vamp. I can't believe she had me stay in a wooden cabin atop a tree just so I could watch her and her clan hunt. This was technically a tree house! It contained nothing more than a small wooden stool, a mat made of battered staw and…and nothing more.Sigh…I have no choice but to put up with it until their hunting is over.But once it is over, what next? A simple thought of truth brimmed in my mind; I can't keep staying here. This is a home of vampires and I am a freaking werewolf! Anastasia’s POV.I suddenly felt pain all over my body, causing a groan to escape my mouth. I cracked my eyes open and found out that I had fallen from the horse's back to the hard forest ground. I must have dozed off …Sigh…I managed to stand up to my feet as my gaze scanned my new surroundings. No doubt , I was still in the forest; a deeper part of it. Although, the spot I was standing in was clearer; with just a few shrubs and some dried leaves scattered around, I still felt a bit apprehensive about my surroundings. This is still a forest, cleared or not.The neighing of the horse startled me a little. I had almost forgotten about the poor lad. It looks so tired, we must have been travelling for a while now. Of course, we have, that explains the dark skies and the twinkling stars above; it was nightfall. If not for the almost-full moon that was shining humbly, I would have had to deal with finding my way around total darkness.I can't keep moving, especially now when my horse needs

Anastasia's POV."Get your filthy hands off me!" I bellowed at the guards that struggled to push me into the cell. Its not like I can't walk in on my own."Stay put, you piece of garbage!" One of them snarled back. They didn't even listen to me by letting me go. They dragged me with my chains into the cell and I couldn't help but fall down.I groaned in pain of crashing into the stone filled ground but the guards didn't even bst an eyelid at me."The Alpha – your grandfather – has ordered us to make sure to deal with you mercilessly." The senior guard amongst the two said, a sickening grin spreadinv across his lips.I didn't fail to notice the scorn in his tone, especially when he tried to remind me of my grandfather's hatred towards me."And trust me when I say I'd do that with full joy, especially when it's going to be my last time doing it before I move to my new position." He said again, bursting into a sick round of laughter, exposing his yellow teeth as a result.Captain Shiro .

"I've had it with your intolerable behavior in this pack!" Grandfather roared at me.I was seated in a chair in his office, grateful that he didn't make me to stand because my thighs were killing me terribly. I would need to dress them properly soon."You ..." Grandfather's voice bellowed, "I'm going to make sure you get sold to the Nightshade pack, you'll see!" He said in fury, his blond brows were furrowed and his eyes were etched with hatred.The Nightshade pack? No ..."Grand – I mean, your highness, please, you can't send me there ..." I pleaded with him, leaning forward from my chair."Silence! You have caused enough troubles for us in this pack, your behavior is just so disastrous that your presence is becoming a plague!" He declared at the top of his voice.I gulped in a lump of saliva and sunk back into he chair.He also relaxed into his bigger chair, rubbing his fingers on his temple. The Nightshade pack is well known for their unmatched influence in the whole of the Westlands, which is one of the most prolific continents amongst the four.They were also well known for their ruthless battle sense – easily taking their enemies and subduing them – and then they put them through the most horrible kind of situations afterwards.And that wasn't all, rumours have been flying around recently that illegal street fights and duels were popular in Nightshade pack. And of course, these duels often lead to deaths – gruesome and unpleasant ones at that.Hence, Nightshade pack isn't somewhere one would want to wake and meet themselves in. But as fate would have it, that's where I am being sold to.I knew grandfather must have had to write that I was his granddaughter for them to come. Nightshade wasn't the kind of pack to be seduced by a slave trade offer of only one single slave."Move it, you slug!" One of the guards from my own pack snarled behind me before pushing me forward
