NORA'S POV

It's been 2 days since Aiden and I got back to San Diego. That means two days since my son had been kidnapped by God knows who.

I tried my best to stay as calm as possible throughout the flight from Del Mar....but as soon as we got back to the hospital, I freaked out. I couldn't believe that this was happening.

It was as if someone literally placed a curse on me because it has just been from one bad news to another.

First it was the meeting with Gloria Hart and how she had threatened me, then the accident that almost claimed my life and that of Duke's. Thankfully the driver in the truck didn't sustain that much injury. He was discharged the same day I left the hospital.

And next, it was the news of my father's passing. I am still yet to recover from all of that and now Duke is missing? Can my life get any worse? Can it get any more pathetic?

"I am soo sorry Nora...they tricked me with the call" Jade said to me but I was too anxious and scared to think straight.

    AIDEN'S POV This was my first time in Del Mar, but sadly, instead of the reason for visit to either be for business or vacation, it was for a funeral. Nora's father's funeral - Mr Carl Simmons. It was also due to that incident that I got to discover all that she went through with her family after she got pregnant. How her father had cut all contacts with her and how she didn't have a choice but to keep my identity a secret.
