"It's not entirely your fault" I said to Hailey

" You don't need to make me feel better Nora.....I deserve this, I deserve to feel this way!" She stated out loud and then asked. " What kind of mother abandons her own child?"

" You didn't have a choice " I replied her

" Oh my dear Nora" she said out loud admidts tears

" I just wish things were different.....I really wish it was." I said to her and then continued. " I mean I knew that there was something wrong with the way Mabel treated me, she treated me differently but what could I have done?.... I had no Idea that she wasn't my mother and there was no one to report to!"

" That woman!.... She promised to take good care of you and told me that you were happy..." Hailey defended

" Oh... happiness was one of the last things I experienced while growing up believe me " I replied her
