CHLOE'S POV

"Is Sean here yet?" I asked Rebecca as soon as I arrived home from work.

" Yes...he came in not quite long" she replied me nervously

" Is everything okay?.....why are you nervous?"" I asked with a concern expression on my face.

Ever since the whole kidnapping incident, she had not being herself, always acting like someone was out to get her.

"I'm fine Chloe, don't worry about me" she replied me as I watched her suspiciously.

I had always lived a simple life.......a life that was honest and free from crime. My parents raised my siblings and I well, everything was good between us until the huge fight between my mother and aunt Savannah, Aiden's mother.

I really didn't grasp the full details of what was going on between them..... not until everything escalated and Aunt Savannah lost her life. Our entire family ran into chaos as soon as news got out and then, the entire Hart family decided to wage war against us, leaving us with nothing but crumbs.

He had dozed off as soon as we landed at the airport in Del Mar and right now we were in a cab heading for my father's house.
