"Let's get back," I order, but Freya doesn't listen and does the opposite by taking us deeper into the forest.

"There's nothing to be afraid of, Peyton." Several voices ring in Freya's ear, and she growls, shifting her head to different angles.

The voices are scary, and I don't know where they came from because it's dark and there's not a single soul out here except me.

A giant tree falls in front of us and Freya hurriedly takes a leap backward.

"Run, get us out of here," I command Freya authoritatively, but she doesn't. Instead, she takes one unsteady footstep after the other and leaves this side, making fear seethe through every inside.

The trees in this forest are closing in, blocking every part so there wouldn't be any way out.

But with the help of the full moon, I can see the forest, otherwise, it'd have choked up in extreme darkness.

It seems as though Freya is deliberately slowing down, and it's beginning to piss me off.
