Precautions Explained
ANA’S POV
I woke up with a start. Looking towards the window, I could see daylight, so I knew that I still had time. Although I’ve only been to the Dreamscape twice, I already knew I loved the place. The absolute peace that I could feel all the way into my bones, my soul, was enough to make me yearn for more uninterrupted, quality time there. But then my logical (and killjoy) mind intercedes and reminds me that for a wolf to have the opportunity to meet with Selene even once in a lifetime was a painfully rare occurrence, but to be invited for a return visit, well that was unheard of. It only existed in dreams.
I reached for my phone to text Emily. It was almost 6 p.m. and as my stomach began to growl, I realized that I had not eaten all day. I decided to see if Em had eaten yet and if not, invite her to meet me at the café a couple of blocks from the packhouse around 7.

ANA’S POVWe left the steak house, our tummies full of what was one of the best meals I remember having in years and headed straight for the pack house. I had been offered to stay at the pack house when I was with Emily earlier that morning.
