Chapter 58

“Ivory.” Sabrina said softly to me.

“How could you let this happen?” My anger was rising, but it was out of my own pain. I didn’t really blame them, but I redirecting my anger.

“I’m so sorry.” Althea came over and put her arm around me. It was comforting and something about her touch soothed me. I didn’t have any tears left to shed.

“I can’t imagine the pain you are going through.” Sabrina said as she kneeled in front of me. I had collapsed in Althea’s arms. “The burial you gave them was beautiful.”

It didn’t require an answer, but I accepted the compliment. “I got Orpheus on our side.” I wanted to change the subject.

I felt them share a look, but thankfully, they didn’t push. “You did wonderfully. Now you just need to get to the witches.” Althea helped me stand up.

“How do I do that?” I asked.

“I can’t exactly tell you that, but I do have a few books that I think you will find enlightening and informative. They will be on your bed when you get home.” Sabrina said with a sl

Why doesn’t she have a wolf? She needs a wolf and a funny one that talks. I love this book that is one thing missing. I’m like when there wolves talk to them.
