“Your taste is still the same.”

The words slipped from my mouth like a truth I never dared to admit before.

Vivian was still breathless, her lips parted, slightly swollen from our kiss, and her eyes—God, those eyes—half-lidded and dazed, staring straight into me as if she wasn’t sure if what just happened was real.

But it was. I’d kissed her like a starving man. And she’d kissed me back.

I could still feel the way her fingers curled in my hair, the way her soft moans escaped between the chaos of our mouths colliding, over and over, like we were making up for the months apart.
