Ray's POV

Tonight’s the night! Tonight’s the night I end that fucking bet with Theo, I’ll show him I’m the new man ladies want. I’m the one everyone wants to fuck with. 

I haven’t lost my game at all …

I sighed and got ready for my date with Lucy. After tonight, I think I’ll break up with her and make way for Reiner, Damn that girl is s- to- the-e- to- the- xy! That ass needs some groping from papa

I smirked as I blow dried my hair and applied some cologne before walking out. I have no idea where we’re going actually, she’s the one picking the place. In as much as I hate the kind of things she likes, she should at least pick a golfing course. You wanna Know why?

I’ll answer that for ya, so I can always wrap my arms around her whenever she wants to hit the ball, it would be like I’m trying to guide her grip you know… sly isn’t it?

I smirked at my thoughts as I walked out of my apartment and got into my car. 

Then I drove all the way to her apartment and picked her up.

Few minutes later…

“Hey babe” I smiled as I walked into her apartment, she was still not fully ready. Clumsy as always, such a good girl 

She gave me a quick kiss before walking back to her room

“I just need my earrings and we’re good to go” she called as her sorry ass escaped into the other room. 

I smiled slightly, if this wasn’t a bet I guess I would have eventually fallen for her. She’s a good woman that doesn’t deserve betrayal, I’ve hung around her for 2 months to realize that but… naaah

I’m not ready to get out of the business just yet, I will forever be interested in girls like Reiner but you see, my technique is much less brutal than Theo's

I don’t just sleep with you on the first day, I try to establish trust so they( the girls I mean) don’t end up regretting anything you know. I’m more of a date you, have sex, if there’s a future with you then hopefully I’ll take things further, I’m still looking for my miss right ya know, I’m not that heartless.

Theo doesn’t date, that’s like an abomination from where he’s from. And when I say date, I mean date with his heart, like he likes you. I’ve never seen it happen, if he says he’s dating, she’s probably from Mainland and it’s for the money, he’s still got small fries he meets up with every now and then, it’s never been about one girl. They’re all challenges, that’s what he says.

I’m just hoping a girl comes along and snatches that cold heart of his, my friend has given up on love for a very long time, I still believe in love though. I believe that there’s someone out there that’s made specially for me, but until she gets here, I’m just going to keep hanging with chicks. Too bad I’ll be taking Theo’s crown this night

“I’m done hun, let’s go” She came out of the room 

“Well that took a lot of time for just earrings” I scowled 

“I’m sorry, I had to take a leak but let’s go now” She skipped happily to my side and snuggled on my arm.

“So? Where are we going?” I asked as I pulled the door and walked out 

“To a baking seminar.” She sputtered 

“ okayy, so we’ll be baking then?” I don’t mind some flour getting on me

“No silly, we’ll be watching famous Baker Fred make something delightful for us. We might even be lucky enough to be his volunteer. After that we’ll go to the cinemas for a movie! I’m so excited!!” She clapped her hands as we got in the car.

I couldn’t hold back a cringe when I heard we’ll be watching and not doing anything. There’s no fun in that! And who the hell is Baker Fred? I’ve never heard of this guy in my entire life!

Few hours later…

Baking? Soo not my thing, Those were the worst hours of my life, the worst part was when he had to look for a volunteer and this bish raised my hands. I was trying to not be mean but then Fred just happened to see my hands. 

I had to wear a net! A freaking net over my newly styled hair and he kept asking me questions about my life, it was just so awkward for me. Like, I could feel my blood boiling when I left that place, I’m this close to bursting and letting my anger out right now but I will not. I need to see my plan through, I just hope the movie calms me down.

Romance would calm me down I bet

“So what’re we watching?” I asked as my eyes roamed the theatre. 

There are some cool movies to watch.

We’ve got the old time Avengers end game. I watched that in high school, it was epic

There’s After… oh that one is good romance, I bet I could steal a kiss or two. 

“What about this movie After. It’s pretty good, would you like to see it?” I glanced back at Lucy and saw her already holding tickets. And I smiled inwardly, maybe she finally gets me

“Yeah, that one’s great but then we’ve both seen it, even though we were no together that time. I’ve got a better idea, what about the documentary of the new species of octopus they discovered last year? I’ve been dying to watch this with someone, pleaseee” she gave me puppy eyes and she kept pouting, we were surrounded by people and an outburst from me would do me no good, besides, she already bought the damn tickets.

So I forced a sweet smile “Sure babe, whatever you want” She jumped on me, practically squeezing me too hard before letting go and walking into the theatre. 

“This is the end of me” I sighed as I walked over to get some popcorn. I can’t believe I even thought about falling for you Lucy. You’re too far from my type and I assure you, after tonight you won’t even see me 5 meters close to you.

Later that night…

“Thank you for an awesome day Ray” she smiled as we walked into her apartment

“No problem” I shrugged. It was just the practical opposite for me.

“You know, you’ve done so much for me these months, why don’t we take things up a notch” She smirked as she let her bag fall to the ground and she walked towards me, slowly undoing her shirt buttons

“You think so?” I smirked. This is ittttt!!!

We shared little kisses before it turned into something more, rough, naughty, needing, tongues everywhere.

I pinned her on a table as I ripped he top open and unclasped her bra, ready to explore her boobs with my mouth when suddenly

Theo’s face showed up out of no where

“Don’t catch my cooties Ray, I’ve been there and I’ve done what you’re about to do” He said and I shrieked 

“What the fuck!” I spat 

“What’s wrong?” Lucy asked me as she panted repeatedly

“It’s nothing” I said. It’s all in my imagination I sighed. 

I captured her lips in mine as I decided to explore another part of her body. Slowly, I fiddled with her skirt and it came loose, then just as I was about to slip my fingers down her panties I heard his voice again.

“You’re gonna catch my cooties” he sang 

Dude, stop. Just stop!!.

I pulled away from her

“I can’t do this” I sighed as I passed my hands through my hair

“What?” She asked as she looked at me expecting an answer.

I can’t catch his cooties. No way, who knows what he’s done to you and I’d just be Oh God! Theo you fucking asshole!  

“Look Lucy, things aren’t just working out for us okay. I hated the baking seminar and I almost passed out while watching that documentary, what I’m saying is that we don’t share same interests and I don’t see why this should continue any longer” 

“But…”

“A freaking boy kept throwing popcorn at my head. I couldn’t flip him off because his damn mum was there, don’t you get it? I don’t like you anymore. Today was one of the worst days of my life, I’m sorry but it’s over between us” I grabbed my jacket and walked out

Leaving her in her underwear, staring at me with tears streaking from her eyes 

I’m sorry but I just can’t have those cooties.

I shivered as I started my car and drove off, 

I need a beer in my system right now…
