Mrs. Boston, Kelly's mom had told Kelly to return home hours after she arrived back at the hospital. She wanted her to get rest after the day's work. Moreover, Dan's health is improving and there's no need for the whole family to watch over him.

"You should return home to freshen up. It's getting late already" her mom had told her

"But mom, I wasn't able to stay with Dan since yesterday, let me stay here while you go home and get some rest" Kelly had refused.

"No, you go home while I stay here. Dan is getting better so there's no need to worry"

"Alright, if you insist," Kelly said and left the hospital.

Kelly got home mentally and emotionally drained. When she got home it was late in the evening. However, she tried cleaning the house and washing her clothes and the dirty dishes before taking her shower. She then lay on her bed.
