Chapter ThirtyOne Ella’s Point of View Walking into my bedroom, I slammed the door so loudly that for a second, I was scared the mirror on the wall next to it would fall and smash. Luckily it didn’t. I went there to try and find SOME way of contacting Michael and telling him to come home, and then to walk in and see… that sight!? It was scary. Sure, now I could just tell her to pass the ‘’Police aren’t looking for you’’ message on to Luke, but a part of me doesn't want to. I want to punish her... But that would just result in me punishing myself. Ah! I had so much anger towards her right now, I just can’t think straight! I found myself pacing back and forth across my room, Just going over and over in my head about everything. Groaning, loudly, I went and sat down on my bed, falling backwards to lay down. I was totally miserable. There was a small knock at my door and I knew INSTANTLY it would be her. ‘Go away!’. I screamed. I really didn’t want to see her or speak to her right
Chapter ThirtyTwo ‘Are you going to let me go anytime soon?’ He chuckled, but I didn’t loosen my grip. I was terrified this wasn’t real and the second I let him go, he would just vanish. ‘I missed you’. He told me, tightening his arms around me and kissing my neck. ‘I missed you too’. My voice broke at the end and fresh tears free-fell down my cheeks. ‘How did you know I was here, I was meant to meet-’ I stopped mid sentence when I realized, ‘Peyton and Luke told you to come here, didn’t they?’ ‘Yeah. Imagine my surprise’. ‘You didn’t know he was sneaking back here to see her?’ He shook his head. ‘No, you best believe if he did, I’d have come with him. I wouldn’t have just ignored you like that’. Eventually, I pulled away from the hug, but he pulled me in for a kiss. Instantly, I melted against him, kissing him back. When we pulled apart for air, he went to the bar and ordered some drinks and I sat back down again. I couldn’t stop smiling. He was here, and I couldn't be happier.
Chapter ThirtyThree As soon as the door was closed, we were all over each other, Touching and kissing, our hands roaming each other's bodies. He started pushing me backwards, directing me towards the bed. I let him and when the backs of my legs hit the side of the bed, I fell backwards. I laid there, looking up at him, as he looked down at me, smirking. ‘What?’ His smirk widened. ‘Nothing, just, taking a mental photo of you looking incredibly sexy and adorable on my bed’. I couldn’t help but giggle; ‘Actually, in fact-’ He pulled his phone out of his pocket and took an actual photo of me, ‘-There we go’. We shared a chuckle and I patted the bed next to me, but he didn’t join. Instead, he took his jacket off and then slowly started unbuttoning his shirt, almost teasingly slow. I couldn’t look away. His little crooked smirk seemed to grow more and more. I sat up slightly and swatted his hands away, finishing the unbuttoning myself. Once it was off his body, my hands moved down
Chapter ThirtyFour I sat next to Michael on the flight to Texas, next to him, of course, was Luke and next to him was, of course, Peyton. Once she heard I was going to Texas with them, she threw the biggest tantrum and got Luke to invite her too. I couldn’t help but laugh at her patheticness… or the fact she clearly didn't see the irony of me doing something with Michael that she didn’t know about… The flight was short enough, only a few hours, and when we touched down in Texas, Damon was waiting at the airport to pick us all up. The guys had phoned ahead and told them that we were with them. I imagined one of them, most likely Damon, kicked off because I heard Michael raise his voice during the conversation, but either way, we were here, and I was excited! ‘So, Have you guys continued your… hobby while you’ve been here?’ I asked him, almost in a whisper so the others wouldn’t hear. He just chuckled. ‘Let's not talk about that right now’. He placed his hand on my knee and squeez
Chapter ThirtyFive Once I was settled in the room, which, just like the rest of the house, was huge and amazing, Michael went downstairs for this ‘’group meeting’’ he had called. I offered to be there with him to explain since it was me that Love admitted her confession to, but he thought it best if I wasn’t. He didn’t know how the other guys would react. It seemed like a fair point. … but hours had passed and he hadn’t returned to the bedroom yet. Afew times, I’d gone over to the door and opened it, peering out just to see if I could hear anything, but I couldn’t. It was literally DEAD silent. Michael had a TV in the room, so after a little while I turned it on and flipped through, looking for something to watch, before I settled on one and laid down on the bed, getting comfortable… Someone shaking my shoulder brought me out of my sleep. I hadn’t even realized I’d fallen asleep and didn’t remember doing so, but the bed was so comfortable, I wasn't surprised. ‘Hey, Hey, com

I knew he was getting impatient, but I enjoyed that, teasing him without even doing anything. We got onto the conversation of house rules. Peyton and I were told to stay out of certain rooms or away from certain areas of the house, I didn’t want to know why, so didn’t ask. We agreed to that, and Joey… and more importantly Damon agreed to keep their distance from me and Pey, it seemed like a win-win. Luke rounded up all the plates before taking them away, Peyton went with him and Mike laughed, announcing that it was Luke’s turn to wash the dishes tonight. I couldn’t help but smile, again thinking how normal everything seemed. Joey got up and mumbled something about having a late date, and Damon just turned ar
Chapter ThirtySeven Joey’s Point of View Afew hours had passed since dinner and I came back downstairs to see where everyone was. Michael and Ella were nowhere to be seen, Nor were Luke and Peyton. Damon was sitting in the lounge still, the TV was on, but he wasn’t watching it. He was aimlessly scrolling through his phone. I could see his thumbs, moving at such a speed, I doubt he was actually seeing anything before he flipped past it. ‘Hey, What time do you wanna go out? It's getting late’. It was our turn to go out tonight. Mike and Luke went before they went back to LA. Of course, they don’t get another chance while the girls are here. Hell, I don't even know if they know the guys are still killing, but who knows. Not my place or business to know. ‘We will go soon. I just need to go change’. I nodded and he got up and left the room. I went and sat down, waiting, but it didn’t take him long before he was coming back down the stairs with his bag in hand. ‘You think you have

I leaned my head back and let out the puff of smoke. I couldn’t sleep, my brain just wouldn’t switch off, so I love coming and sitting out on the balcony at night when that happens. It's just so tranquil and relaxing. It helps. I looked over my shoulder and saw Ella still fast asleep in the bed. She crashed out a while ago, clearly worn out from our evening's activities. Turning back, I just looked out into the darkness, enjoying the peacefulness of it. This here, this balcony, was my favourite place to come and just.. Be. I finished my cigarette and sparked up another. ‘You wanna be careful, those things will kill you’. I turned quickly, startled by the voice, of course, it was just Ella, but it was so quiet, I was surprised. ‘Yeah, well, there are worse things out there’. She just
