Maybe throwing a big family party and having family come in from out of town wasn’t the best idea, considering we hadn’t long moved into our house, but how many times do your children turn one? Today was a special day and while it would be ALOT of hard work, it would definitely be worth it.

I was in the kitchen making breakfast while Ella was up in the shower.

‘Do you want some toast?’ I asked my very happy birthday boy. He looked up at me and beamed a smile, nodding before he continued playing with his toys on the floor.
