ログインChapter 5
Every time I prayed to the moon goddess, she always gave me the direct opposite if what I asked for. Every fucking time.
"You arrogant tyrant...I don't want you. I'll never accept you." I said again, hoping to get the same reaction, but he seemed to have already known my plan because he chuckled, then walked to close to me and the bed, i could see the pupils of his eyes. He stopped at the edge of the bed, looking down at me like I was a wild creature he was toying with.
Like i was a worm and he was simply pouring salt on me and watching me writhe.
Like I wasn’t a person... just a puzzle he wanted to take his time unravelling.
"Yes, Princess... I am a tyrant, i am pure evil and i am not kind" he replied matter of factly. “I do, however,” he continued, “reward good behavior.”
I let out a short, humorless laugh. “And what exactly counts as good behavior? Not trying to escape? Not trying to kill you?”
His head tilted slightly.
“That would be a good start, Princess.”
He had to be fucking kidding me. Silence stretched between us. My fingers curled into my palm, digging deep until i felt a sharp prick.
“You wiped out my entire pack,” I said, my voice quieter now, sadness consuming me whole at the thoufht of how alone i truly was. Even if i was finally let gp and released to be free, where would i go.
"You murdered my father in front of me and you’re standing here talking about behavior like I’m some kind of pet.”
His gaze didn’t waver. He didn’t even react to the words I spoke.
“If you were a pet,” he said calmly, “you wouldn’t be speaking to me like that.”
“Let me go...you think this is control?” I pushed. “Chaining me here? Keeping me weak?”
He stepped closer if that was even possible.
I felt the shift in the air. That pressure. His alpha power rolling off of hom in huge waves. Like something invisible just pressed down on my chest.
“You’re not weak, Princess,” he said quietly, "Stop lying to yourself,” he murmured.
He then reached for the bandage on my shoulder.
I tensed immediately. My mind and my body reacting differently.
“Don’t.” I hissed at him, but he didn’t listen, because of course he didn’t. Instead, he grabbed the edge of the bandage and peeled it back slowly. Pain exploded throughout my shoulder. It knocked the air out of me.
A sharp gasp tore from my lips as my body jerked.
His hand shot out, gripping my other arm, holding me still effortlessly, while he looked at the terrible wound i had gotten from the rogue bite.
“Hold still,” he said, hus eyes peering deeper at the wound, inspecting it.
“Go to hell,” I snarled.
He ignored my words and my thrashing as he got to work rebandabimg the wound.
His fingers brushed lightly against the wound. Like he was being careful. It didn’t match him. I knew him as a tyrant, a killer, a monster. So when he acted calm like this, it annoyed me more than the pain.
“You’re healing,” he said, almost to himself.
I clenched my teeth. “Yeah, unfortunately.”
His gaze flicked up to mine again, and his hand stilled for a second.
“You know, Princess, I haven’t decided what to do with you yet.” he said and continued to inspect.
“Well, Alpha, I’m not something you get to decide on.”
His gaze lifted again from my wounds to stare into my eyes.
“Princess, you keep makimg me repeat myself. You’re in my territory. In my care. Which means I get to decide what happens to you.”
“I’d rather be dead.” I spat.
This time, he leaned in slightly closer. Enough that I could feel his breath against my skin.
“Be careful what you wish for, Lilith. I'vebeen known to grant wishes to people.”
My heart skipped in my chest. He said my name like he owned it...Like it belonged to him.
I never told him my name.
“How did you...”
“Oh, your name? Princess, I know everything and everyone. Especially when they're important to me.”
Does that mean...? I didn’t want to think about it too deeply.
“Get out,” I said, my voice shaking now despite how hard I tried to steady it. And fucking hell, I was still tied up. I couldn't run even if I wanted to.
“Untie me. Let me go.” I said almost pleadingly.
“No.” he replied simply.
My eyes burned from rage and unshed tears.
“I’m not staying here in your dreadful, sadistic pack.” I yelled, standing up and pulling at the chains till i felt the skin around my leg break and blood beginning to seep through.
“You don’t have a choice, Princess.”
“I’ll kill you. I kill you and everyonein this damned pack!.”
The words came tumbling out of my lips before I could even stop to think about them.
He stared at me, not saying a word in response to the threat i had just thrown at him and his pack.
I held my breath, waiting for the anger... For the explosion, the rage, the wrath... instead all I got was that insufferable smile again. It was so dark, so dark ans needy, so...interested. It was almost luke everytime i pushed him, or angered him, it got him more addicted.
“You could kill me, you could murder my entire pack from anger...Maybe. But you won't...” he said softly.
My breath hitched as he stalked closer to me.
“...you could, but not like this. Broken, weak and filled with anger. When you're healed, I'll let you go ahead”
He stood up slowly, putting space between us again.
Like nothing had just happened.
Like he hadn’t just gotten under my skin.
“I’ll leave you to stew a little bit more. Try to rest, princess, okay? I'll come back later,” he said.
“I don’t want you to. Release me and I'll go my way. I don'twant to see your face anymore.”
“I know.” and with those words, he turned toward the door and then paused at the door.
Without looking back, he added, “Try to rest. I mean it, Princess”
I stared at him in disbelief.
“Are you fucking serious right now?” I asked the back of his head.
He opened the door.
“I prefer you alive.” he replied and just like that, he was gone.
The door shut behind him, leaving me alone again, but the silence was silence felt louder this time. Heavier...like my body was finally understanding the situation I was in.
Mated to the arrogant Alpha that murdered my pack and entire family and now I was in an underground cave, as a prisoner of war. A trophy.
My body sank back against the small bed, my chest rising and falling way too fast.
My skin still burned everywhere he had touched me. Like my body couldstand being apart from him, could not stand the distance between us, even toughhis very same presense infuriated me.
My head spun.
My damned heart refused to calm down.
“I’m going to kill him,” I whispered. "I'm going to fucking kill him"
Lilith’s POVIn my nightmares... the smoke always found me first. In the dream, I was back on the gravel behind the burning pack house. The air tasted like ash and copper. The warrior pinned me down, his fingers digging into my wrists, his laughter hot against my skin. I thrashed and kicked, but my legs wouldn’t move...they felt like dead weight.“Look at you begging,” he whispered. Then his face changed. It wasn’t the warrior anymore. It was my father. His eyes were pitch black, with thick dark blood streaming down his cheeks and dripping onto my chest. He clamped both hands around my throat and squeezed until the bones in my neck creaked under the pressure.“Why did you survive, Lilith?” His voice boomed from everywhere at once. “You let them butcher us. You let that monster carry you away. You belong in the dirt with the rest of your pack.”“I’m sorry,” I tried to say, but the words came out as a strangled wheeze. “Papa, I’m sorry...I didn't wish for this”“Die like an Alpha’s daug
Cassian’s POVThe heavy iron door thudded shut behind me, but her whispered words "I’m going to fucking kill him" still echoed in my ears.I stood in the cold hallway of the underground cell, my jaw locked so tight it fucking ached. My skin was hot, still buzzing from being that close to her. My wolf was practically clawing at my ribs, furious, demanding I turn around, rip that door open, and pin her down until she accepted the bond.“You look like you’re ready to punch a hole through the foundation of this pack house.”Brandon was leaning against the stone wall a few feet down, his arms crossed. He’d changed into a gray shirt, looking completely relaxed. He was my Beta and my best friend, meaning he was the only person alive who didn't flinch when I looked his way.I didn’t answer him. I just stalked past, my boots slamming against the floor.Brandon fell into step beside me. The easygoing smirk he usually wore slowly vanished as he took in the look on my face. We reached the

Chapter 4She had bright green eyes, the one that would have been pretty to look at if it did not carry so much bile and ugly hatred in them, but then, what the Fuck did I care, she was offering me my freedom just so I would leave her blood thirsty demon Alpha for her... That is a deal I would willingly take."Do you think I want to be here? Do you think they could ever pay me enough to leave my pack and stay in this bloodthirsty place?" The rage I felt was bubbling as I spoke, as my brain filled me up with all the bad memories I had tried to push aside, my father’s dead, and the feeling of his pack link snapping till it fell silent, the blood of my pack members that soaked the ground we used to gather around to play..."Look here, Alpha's daughter, I would rather die than be here, within this walls, constantly reminded of what your Alpha took from me." I said, venom leaking into every word."Great. It is settled then. That means you will be accepting my help. I don't want your crooke
Chapter 3"Papa...papa?" I knew I was dreaming, I knew this had to be my imagination playing a cold joke on me... I knew that because I was seeing my pack. And in my dream, everyone was still happy, still thriving, still hopeful and excited like we had always been... "Papa?" I called out for my father. "Chipmunk, if you keep calling me out like that, you'll wear down my name" my father said as he walked out of the pack house... alive, smiling and waving me over. "Oh please, your name isn't Papa... how would I be wearing it down? It's not even your name" I asked, laughing even though my heart was breaking on the other side. "Oh no, Chipmunk. My name is Papa to you... nothing else. Understand?" He said, flucking my nose and laughing when I slap his hands away. "Dad... Stop...I'm not a kid anymore" I say, still giggling. "You'll always be my kiddo, Chipmunk. Always" I smiled and looked up at his face. One second he was smiling down at me, the next he was bleeding from h
Chapter 2I didn’t know how long I ran, it could could have been minutes or even hours. But I ran so far away with the baby in my arms that the war began to sound far away.I breathed a deep sigh of relief, dragging air into my aching lungs, as i held on to my torn dress and tried to tie both edges together to give it a semblance of decency. My feet were red and bloody, and full of wounds, but at least I was safe and all alone. No one had followed us while I ran. Not even Alpha Cassian. It was just me and the baby. I looked at him, covered in blood that wasn’t his, but at least he was safe . I was safe. Broken, hurt and alone, but safe… Finally…I was about to thank the moon goddess for finally answering my earlier prayers when I heard a twig snap from behind me. It sounded too damn close to be a coincidence. Way too close to me.My pulse stuttered as I held the whimpering baby closer to my chest. Then the scent of another wolf hit me. I did not recognise the scent. It was not a Wol
