Nolan stood unmoving as it seemed that his world came to an abrupt stop. He felt like he had lost everything that very moment, as his wife and daughter lay unconscious on the ground.

He could still hear Noelle's heartbeat but the same couldn't be said for Layla whose heartbeats were very faint. She was literally half dead.

Carla staggered back, clutching her mouth and groaning in pain. She looked up at Nolan, her eyes wide with shock and fear.

But she won at least, Layla would never get Nolan and she made sure of that and turned out victorious. Nolan would not also lose Layla but the unborn child she was carrying.
