I sit at the table and fix him with a look. “If you try to cuddle me, I'll stab your ass with a limp spell.”

It’s a bluff. Casting a limp spell is something a more sophisticated caster can do, maybe in their third or fourth year at Crestbane.

Even though I can comfortably cast a limp spell, it will raise questions if it gets to the authorities.

Also, with the back-to-back spells I've been casting in preparation for my mission, my ability to cast at the moment is low. I’ll have to remedy that soon.
