Chapter 14. Never

They reached the hospital to look at Eva’s father's condition. Keilan took Eva's hand. She was shaking.

Her heart sank knowing that her father was sick in the hospital, and still unconscious. The last time she saw him, they fought and were not on speaking terms. She didn’t expect that a few months later he would have a heart attack.

She felt devastated. However, she tried to cover it with a strong facade. She had to do it for her brother, Jason.

"Eva, you don't have to be so strong," Keilan hugged her to calm her down, "I'm here with you now."

"I know," she said in a whisper, "thank you."

They walked towards the room, but before they could enter, an attractive-looking young man similar to Eva came out. He looked at Eva and a wide smile decorated his face.

"Jason," Eva ran to him, she hadn't seen him in days and she needed him. However, the problem with the company had made her run like crazy everywhere in search of solutions. She didn't have time to comfort him or talk to him.
