“Ugh! Why is it called morning sickness if it lasts all damn day?” Jillie asked as she stomped out of the bathroom.

She’d been battling morning sickness since she woke up last night. It was now almost one in the afternoon. She climbed onto the bed and buried her head in a pillow before turning onto her back. Reaching over, I began to rub her stomach gently.

“I don’t know. I guess because it primarily happens for most women at that time,” I finally responded.

She groaned. “I wanted to go back into town today and see the other sites.”

“We can still go. As soon as you start to feel better.”
