Chapter 71 "Do I smell?"

The tightly shut door had been stared by Marianne for the past hour. She had been waiting for her husband to be back an hour ago. It is already half past two in the morning, but Francois has not come back yet. On her hand is an empty glass that had been warmed up for holding it for too long, and the smell of alcohol lingers in the air.
