Hello Wonderful Readers,

If you have read my books before, it is such a privilege to have you join me again! If not, thank you so much for giving Pursuing My Rejected Luna a shot! This book is completely stand alone with brand new characters unconnected to my other works. As always with my books, there will be ups and downs, bumps in the road, plenty of spice, and a guaranteed HEA for Skye. But I'll be honest, she may have a bit of a rough time getting there.

As for my updating schedule, I will make every effort to update daily, except for Sundays which I set apart for family time (although I've been known to post on a Sunday here and there). Due to my daytime schedule, I usually update in early evening. I live in Hawaii so I'm on HST.

As Always, words cannot express the love and appreciation I have for each of you. You bring joy and inspiration to my work. Thank you to the moon and back!

Much Love,

Cara

Nicolai"Tell Alpha Vale I’ll be making a diplomatic visit," I answer Dimitri after thinking it through. "Trade discussions. Territorial alliances. Alpha to Alpha business.""That could work." Dimitri's expression shows grudging approval. "Vale can't refuse without looking weak or isolationist. And it gives you access to his territory, his pack, his home.""And to Skye.""That too." Dimitri studies me carefully. "You're planning something.""I'm planning to assess the situation. See what's happening with my own eyes. And if Skye needs help..." I meet his gaze steadily. "Then I'll help her.""Even if it means going up against another Alpha? Making an enemy of the Vale pack?""Vale made himself my enemy the moment he started treating her like a prisoner. If that’s what is happening. I’ll decide which side of my shit list Vale falls on once I get there."“Right. Either general dislike for no apparent good reason, or “oh fuck! You’re about to wish you weren’t born!” We both know that’s the

NicolaiThe text comes through while I'm in a meeting with the eastern territory representatives.I ignore it at first—checking my phone during negotiations would shatter my stone cold façade, an illusion a man in my position cannot afford to break. But something makes me glance down when the representative is reviewing documents. The message preview shows just enough to make my chest tighten.I can't meet. Too many eyes on me.I conclude the meeting fifteen minutes later with terms favorable enough that the representatives leave satisfied. They damn well better be considering the whole meeting was a ruse only meant to lend credibility to my reason for being here. They have nothing I need and yet I gave them what they asked for. They’re lucky Skye is more important to me than the crumbs I’m throwing them. The moment the door closes behind them, I'm reading the full message.I can't meet. Too many eyes on me. But I need your help—my stepbrother Dalton is being held in the capital witho

  • Pursuing My Rejected Luna   Chapter 36

SkyeDr. Lukas pulls out her medical kit, wrapping the blood pressure cuff around my arm with practiced efficiency."Have you been sleeping well?" she asks."Not particularly.""Eating?""When I can."The cuff tightens, releases. Dr. Lukas frowns at the reading. "Your blood pressure is elevated. Not dangerously so, but higher than I'd like." She places her hand on my forehead. "No fever. But you're clearly exhausted.""It's just stress," I say quickly. "The situation at home has been... complicated."Dr. Lukas's eyes flick briefly to where Cassandra stands in the crowd, Liam at her side, watching with false concern written across her perfect face."I see." Dr. Lukas's tone is carefully neutral, but I catch the disapproval underneath. "Well, stress can manifest physically. I'd like to do a full examination back at the clinic. Blood work, hormone levels—""That's not necessary." The words come out too fast, too sharp.Dr. Lukas pauses. "Luna, if something is wrong—""I'm just tired." I s

SkyeI wake to my phone glowing in the darkness. It’s open to the text from Nicolai, timestamped from last night, like a beacon guiding me toward the path I’ve chosen. Tomorrow. Noon. The clearing where the east road meets the forest trail. Come alone.Tomorrow is now today. He wants to meet today.I check the time: 6:47 AM. That gives me just over five hours to figure out how to slip away unnoticed from an Alpha house where I'm apparently under surveillance.I'm still formulating excuses when my bedroom door opens without knocking.Jaxon."Get dressed," he says without preamble. "We have a pack function at ten. The dedication ceremony for the new housing development."My stomach sinks. "I wasn't aware I was expected to attend.""You're the Luna. Of course you're expected." His tone is clipped, impatient. "And we're going together. The pack needs to see us united."United. As if standing next to each other at a ceremony erases three years of distance."I have other commitments this mor

JaxonI'm walking through the main hall that afternoon when I hear Cassandra's voice from the top of the stairs."Liam, careful with those—oh!"I look up just in time to see her trip over something—the edge of the carpet, maybe, or her own feet. The basket of laundry she's carrying goes flying as she pitches forward toward the stairs.Instinct takes over.I'm moving before I think, crossing the distance in seconds, catching her before she can tumble down the steps. Her weight crashes into me and I steady us both, one arm around her waist, the other braced against the railing."I've got you," I say. "You're okay."Cassandra clings to me, breathing hard. "I'm so sorry. I didn't see—thank you. You saved me.""Are you hurt?""No, I—just shaken." She looks up at me, her amber eyes wide with lingering fear. "If you hadn't been there...""But I was." I help her to a more stable position, making sure she has her footing, but she wobbles and I keep my hands on her shoulders until she’s more ste

Jaxon "She went to breakfast at the café on Main Street. Walked through town for about an hour. Came straight back."I look up from the reports on my desk to where my guard, Collin, stands at attention, delivering his surveillance update like it's routine pack business instead of reporting to a crazy man who is having his own wife followed. "That's it?" I ask. "She didn't meet with anyone? Make any calls? Are you absolutely sure?""None that I observed, Alpha. And she was never out of my sight." He shifts his weight. "She seemed... normal. Just having breakfast alone."Normal. The word grates against something in my chest."Fine. Dismissed." I grumble as I wave him off. Collin leaves, and I'm left alone with the uncomfortable knowledge that I just had someone tail Skye through town like a stalker with absolutely nothing to show for it.No secret meetings. No suspicious contacts. Just my wife having breakfast by herself because apparently she'd rather eat alone than share a table wit
