Gunner's POV

“We will be landing in Iceland in approximately 10 minutes. Please put your trays up and lock them in place, and make sure your seat is in the upright position. The pilot will now turn on the fasten seatbelt sign.”

There was a ding noise and the seatbelt symbol lit up. I did as the flight attendant asked and looked around to make sure everyone else was following directions. That’s when it hit me, I was only hours away from seeing my mate again. To lose her after just finding her, and then after all this time not even seeing her or touching her, in this realm at least, I couldn’t wait any longer.
