The meeting turned out better than I expected, aside from almost losing my cool when Ares suggested the military inclusion, the rest of the conversation went smoothly, and the meeting came to an end.

I stood up, ready to leave, but Shantel stopped me, asking to talk privately. The others left, and she finally said something, “I am impressed, Princess Faye. You giving everyone a chance to express themselves shows your potential as a great leader.” she commented.

“Thank you, Shantel.” I smiled out of courtesy.

Shantel took my hand, lightly squeezing it, “If you need any guidance or heads-up on the conference, I would be more than ready to help you with that.” She said, “Ruling alongside Alpha Sage and my colleagues will not be easy, but I am sure you are ready to take on anything.”

I nodded, even though my entire system disagreed with her. “In two weeks the entire pack will know you as the Luna of SilverWolf.”

“Two weeks?” I blurted out almost like a bark.
