Fury filled my veins as his voice filled my ears. It wasn’t his voice as much as what he had dared to call me. I tensed in my grandmother’s arms and I heard her apologize about a dozen times straight into my ear.

He pulled my hands and dragged me into his office, letting me slide in on his lap while he pulled out his laptop and went to work, explaining everything as he did it. He was sending his two best trackers to meet Schmidt’s best trackers. Schmidts were the best in the world but Alex’s were top notch as well as being better fighters if they found trouble. Together the four would be tasked with information and infiltration. Apparently they were experts and Alex had every confidence in them.“We have information about these rogues but what we really need is the hierarchy. Are they run by one? A few? A rogue alpha or king? { Alex } I pushed back my chair and released a sigh as we hung up the phone with the last Alpha we needed to contact for a little while at least. We had spent the entire morning on the phone, updating others with the information we knew and gaining more information from them as well.
