18. New House

We stayed at Nikki’s for about a week before our parents bought the house about a quarter mile down the beach from Nikki’s.

They also bought the land between the houses and around them for about a mile giving us a safe place to be wolves.

“How do you like it here?” I question while walking into Liliana’s room where she is laying down because her stomach was uneasy.

“It seems really nice,” Liliana answers while looking around at the room and I smile.

“It really does,” I agree while stretching and getting comfortable in Liliana’s bed with her.

“How are you feeling?” I inquire, staring down at her hands over her belly that is showing more.

“Nervous, I’m starting to feel the baby move a lot now that I know what it is,” Liliana semi smiles and I nod my head happy things were going well; she deserves an easy pregnancy after everything.

“I would expect nothing less, having a baby this young is hard. I can’t imagine how hard of a time you’re having given who the baby’s father is,” I adm
