‘Hey! Do you have time? Let's discuss over lunch’.

Timothy.

I let out a sigh, reading Timothy's text again.

Mr. Hall went out earlier, and I can't cope being alone at home.

Just as I was about to reply to Timothy, I recalled that I had a lunch plan with Mr. Liam, so I paused and sighed.

‘Let’s do this tomorrow. I'm busy today’.

Mr. Liam's call came in, and I answered.

“Hey! You haven't forgotten our lunch date, have you?”

“No, I haven't.”

“Send me your address. I'll pick you up.”

No. I can't send him my dress. I can't let him know that I'm living with Mr. Hall now.

“Let's meet at the restaurant instead. I'll send you the address.”

He went silent for seconds, then said, “okay. I'll be waiting.”

After the call, I sat on my bed , scrolling through the tons of unanswered messages waiting in my inbox.

A notification popped on my phone, and I hesitantly clicked on it. Susanne had just made a new post.
