Adrian opened his eyes slowly, but was forced to shut it again when it was overrode by piercing sunlight.

Lowering his head, he slowly opened it then got sight of his chained hands.

"You're awake. Good." He heard someone say beside him and hurriedly turned to where the voice came from.

Marco walked into his sight. Tilting his head slightly to the side, he asked, "Do I look familiar?"

"Marco Accardo, what do you think you're doing?" Adrian hissed, struggling with the chains.

"Nothing harmful. I just have some questions to ask you." Marco replied, grabbing a seat.

"And you don't think I would've given you the answers you wanted without you being so aggressive?" Adrian huffed, glaring at him.

"I know you would've given me any answer I wanted. But I doubted you'd tell me who it was that saved you and your friends from being assassinated some weeks ago." Marco smiled.
