[System Alert: Sovereign Spatial Realm Active.]

[Current Spatial Energy Points (SEP): 1,700 Points.]

[Tier 1 Body Enhancement Status: Active (100%).]

Seraphina stood on the balcony of her top-floor penthouse, overlooking the bustling city center.

The crisp autumn breeze ruffled her coat, but she didn't feel the chill. Her body temperature auto-regulated perfectly. Her hearing picked up conversations from three floors below, and her eyes easily tracked a falcon diving between two skyscrapers a mile away.

Tier 1 physical refinement is incredible... but physical stats alone won't save me if I get injured or run out of strategic defense positions.

Seraphina turned back into her living room, where Arthur Henderson and a team of four elite financial managers were waiting with stacks of digital tablets and transfer confirmation slips.

"President Sterling," Mr. Henderson stepped forward, bowing respectfully. "The liquidation process is moving faster than expected. As of 9:00 AM today, $320 Million USD has been successfully transferred into your off-shore accounts in Switzerland and Singapore. The remaining $360 million will clear by Friday."

"Good," Seraphina said, setting her coffee cup down with a light clink. "How is the situation with Julian Hayes and Chloe?"

Mr. Henderson smiled, a cold glint in his eyes. "Julian’s bail request was officially denied by the magistrate this morning due to the high flight risk and the sheer scale of his embezzlement charges. He is currently locked in a holding cell at the Central District Jail awaiting formal trial."

"And Chloe?"

"She spent the night sleeping on a bench outside the city park," Mr. Henderson replied smoothly. "She attempted to contact several high-society acquaintances to ask for a place to stay, but as soon as news broke that the Sterling Group cut her off and revoked her luxury accounts, every single one of them blocked her number."

[Ding!]

[Karma Reversal Triggered!]

[Antagonist Despair Level: Escalating.]

[Reward: +200 Spatial Energy Points (SEP)!]

[Total SEP: 1,900 / 3,000 (Progress toward Tier 2 Body Refinement)]

Seraphina’s lips curved slightly. Leaving them alive to watch their world crumble slowly yields far more system points than killing them outright.

"Keep an eye on them, Mr. Henderson. Don't let them die, but make sure they don't get a single cent of aid." Seraphina picked up her tablet. "Now, onto phase two."

"Phase two, President Sterling?"

"I need to acquire Medical Manufacturing Plants and lock down the entire regional pharmaceutical supply chain," Seraphina said coldly. "And I need an isolated, self-sustaining piece of land in the northern mountain range."

Mr. Henderson adjusted his glasses, his expression instantly becoming sharp and professional. "Regarding pharmaceuticals, the Sterling Group already holds a sixty percent controlling stake in Aegis Bio-Pharma, the largest medical distribution network in the state. They have three automated central warehouses containing cold-chain vaccines, trauma kits, surgical tools, and emergency antibiotics."

"Cancel all pending shipments to external hospitals and regional pharmacies under Aegis," Seraphina commanded without hesitation.

Mr. Henderson paused, a flicker of shock crossing his face before he quickly suppressed it. "C-Cancel external hospital shipments? President Sterling, the medical board—"

"Buy out the remaining forty percent stake in Aegis Bio-Pharma today," Seraphina cut him off, her tone leaving zero room for argument. "Make it a one-hundred percent private subsidiary under my personal name. Pay whatever premium the minority shareholders demand. Once full ownership is transferred, move every single crate of trauma supplies, broad-spectrum antibiotics, pain relievers, surgical gear, and medical generators into Aegis Central Warehouse No. 1."

She leaned forward, her dark eyes pinning the attorney down. "Clear the staff by 5:00 PM today, just like we did at the harbor."

Mr. Henderson swallowed hard, bowing his head deeply. "Understood, President Sterling. It will be done by 4:00 PM."

"As for the land..." Seraphina swiped her tablet, displaying a high-resolution topographical map of the northern region.

Pointed out on the screen was a remote, heavily forested mountain peak known as Blackwood Ridge.

"This site," Seraphina pointed to the map. "It’s an abandoned Cold War-era subterranean military bunker built three hundred meters deep inside solid granite rock. It was auctioned off ten years ago to a private prepper group that went bankrupt."

In her past life, Blackwood Ridge had become one of the top three human survival sanctuaries in the entire continent because its deep granite foundation was completely immune to seismic shifts, and its natural elevation kept it far above the toxic crimson rain floods!

"I know this property," Mr. Henderson nodded quickly. "The bank currently holds the title deed. Because of its remote location and extreme depth, nobody wants to buy it. The bank's asking price is forty million dollars."

"Buy it immediately," Seraphina ordered. "Pay fifty million to skip the escrow period and transfer the title deed to me within twenty-four hours."

She swiped the screen again, pulling up a list of international heavy engineering contractors.

"Hire Titan Defense Engineering. Offer them triple their normal rate to mobilize three hundred top-tier engineers and heavy construction machinery to Blackwood Ridge by tomorrow morning. I want a 24/7 rush order on base construction."

"What are the parameters for the build, President Sterling?"

Seraphina’s voice turned dangerously cold as she laid out the blueprint for an impenetrable apocalyptic fortress:

 * Outer Wall: A 15-meter-high, triple-reinforced titanium-alloy perimeter wall equipped with high-voltage electric wiring, automated motion-sensor floodlights, and vibration detectors.

 * Subterranean Bunker Structure: Deep granite reinforcement, triple pneumatic blast doors rated for nuclear impacts, geothermal power generators, closed-circuit oxygen recycling systems, and deep-well water filtration plants.

 * Living Quarters & Hydroponics: A 5,000-square-meter climate-controlled luxury living suite, connected to automated indoor farming bays and animal husbandry zones.

Mr. Henderson listened, his breath hitching as he wrote down the terrifying specifications. This wasn't a holiday retreat—this was an impenetrable war fortress built to withstand the end of the world!

"The total cost for a rush build of this scale... along with the titanium alloys and geothermal drills... will run at least $180 Million, President Sterling," Mr. Henderson said nervously.

"I have the money," Seraphina replied calmly. "Tell Titan Defense that if the fortress is completed within twenty days, I will give them an extra $50 Million bonus."

Twenty days. That would leave her with a full ten days before Zero Hour to finish testing her defense systems and moving her final supplies inside!

"I will contact the chairman of Titan Defense personally right now!" Mr. Henderson bowed low and hurried out of the office to execute the orders.

4:30 PM. Aegis Bio-Pharma — Central Warehouse No. 1.

The massive, temperature-controlled facility was located in the high-tech industrial park at the edge of the city.

Inside, the air was crisp, sterile, and cold. Rows of high-density steel shelving rose twenty meters toward the ceiling, packed tight with millions of sterile boxes, cold-storage containers, and heavy wooden pallets.

Seraphina walked through the heavy automated sliding doors. The facility was completely deserted—per her orders, every manager, driver, and warehouse worker had been sent home early on paid leave.

She walked down the central aisle, her boots echoing against the pristine epoxy floor.

[System Scanning Environment...]

[Target Material Identified: High-Grade Medical Supplies, Antibiotics, Surgical Equipment, Vaccine Stasis Units.]

[Total Value: $120,000,000 USD.]

[Initiate Spatial Collection?]

Seraphina raised her left hand. The dark chrome obsidian ring on her middle finger hummed violently, casting a dazzling violet glow across the steel shelves.

"Collect!"

WHOOSH!

Space distorted in a fifty-meter radius around her!

In a fraction of a second, entire rows of cold-storage medical vaults, millions of boxes of trauma bandages, morphine, broad-spectrum antibiotics, surgical robots, and portable ultrasound scanners vanished into thin air!

Row after row—ERASED!

Inside her mind, the infinite white vacuum dimension absorbed the massive medical mountain. The absolute stasis property of her space was perfect for pharmaceuticals: vaccines would never degrade, antibiotics would never lose potency, and sterile equipment would remain 100% uncontaminated forever!

In less than fifteen seconds, the 30,000-square-meter medical warehouse was completely emptied down to the bare walls!

[Ding!]

[Massive Supply Deposit Confirmed!]

[Stored Items: $120,000,000 worth of Strategic Medical Resources & Life-Support Equipment.]

[Spatial Energy Points (SEP) Generated: +1,500 Points!]

[Congratulations! Host Has Reached 3,400 / 3,000 SEP!]

[Tier 2 Body Enhancement (Awakened Limit) Available for Refinement!]

Seraphina’s eyes flashed with intense excitement.

Tier 2 already!

"System! Initiate Tier 2 Refinement immediately!"

[Command Confirmed! Initiating Tier 2 Body Refinement...]

BOOM!

A wave of thunderous, blinding violet energy erupted from the ring, slamming directly into Seraphina's chest!

Unlike the burning sensation of Tier 1, Tier 2 felt like icy, liquid lightning surging through her nervous system, bone marrow, and muscle tissues! Her bones emitted dense, metallic clicks as their molecular density multiplied. Her neural response speed expanded ten-fold!

BZZZZT!

Small wisps of violet spatial electricity flickered across her skin, floating gently around her fingertips!

[Ding!]

[Tier 2 Body Enhancement Complete!]

[Host Attributes Updated:]

 * Strength: 80 \rightarrow 220 (11x Normal Human Limit)

 * Agility: 75 \rightarrow 210 (10.5x Normal Human Limit)

 * Physique/Endurance: 85 \rightarrow 250 (Immunity to Level 1 & Level 2 Virus/Toxins; High Physical Damage Resistance)

 * Sensory Perception: 70 \rightarrow 200 (Awakened Spatial Perception: Host can sense physical movement through solid walls within a 100-meter radius)

 * New Active Skill Unlocked — [Spatial Blade]: Host can compress spatial energy around her hand or weapon, cutting through solid steel and Level 2 Mutant armor like paper.

Seraphina extended her right hand.

SWISH!

A razor-thin, shimmering crescent of violet spatial energy condensed along the edge of her palm. She lightly flicked her hand toward a thick steel pillar supporting the roof twenty meters away.

SLICE!

The spatial blade flew through the air silently.

THUD!

The massive, solid-steel I-beam was sliced cleanly in half! The upper section slid two inches to the side with a smooth, mirror-like cut surface before stopping!

Seraphina looked at her glowing hand, a dark, intoxicating sense of absolute power surging through her chest.

In her past life, Level 2 Mutants required an entire squad of armed soldiers with heavy armor-piercing heavy machine guns to take down. Now, before the apocalypse had even begun, she could slice through them with a wave of her hand!

BRRRRR!

Her phone rang.

Seraphina checked the caller ID. It was an unknown local number.

She pressed answer, setting it to her ear.

"Seraphina... you cold-blooded monster..."

A raspy, bruised male voice filled with furious, hatred-filled gasps spoke from the other end. It was Julian, calling from the Central Jail payphone.

"Julian," Seraphina said, her tone as indifferent as a god looking at an ant. "How is the holding cell?"

"You think you won?!" Julian spat, coughs wracking his chest as his split jaw throbbed with pain. "My lawyer is filing a bail appeal tomorrow! The moment I get out of here, I’m going to reveal all your corporate secrets to the media! I’m going to destroy your reputation! You hear me, you bitch?!"

Seraphina stood alone in the dark, empty warehouse, her eyes glowing with a faint, terrifying violet light.

"Julian," she whispered softly.

"What?!"

"Do you know what the temperature in Blackwood Ridge will be in twenty-nine days?"

Julian froze, stunned by her bizarre question. "What the hell are you talking about, you crazy psycho?!"

"It will be minus twenty degrees," Seraphina smiled, her voice dripping with lethal malice. "And while you’re starving in the dark, freezing to death in a pile of your own filth... I’ll be sitting in my warm throne, watching you die."

CLICK.

She hung up, crushing the disposable phone in her hand into a lump of twisted metal.

[Time Remaining Before Apocalypse: 28 Days, 18 Hours.]

[Liquid Wealth Remaining: $480,000,000 USD.]

[Fortress Construction: Initiated.]

Seraphina turned toward the exit, her eyes fixed on the distant mountains.

Next target: Heavy Weapons, Industrial Diesel Reserves, and Armored Vehicles! And my castle.. she chuckled a bit and started walking

The wind on the rooftop didn't just feel cold; it felt like jagged glass scraping directly against her soul.Seraphina Sterling lay pinned against the frost-covered perimeter fence, her breathing coming out in violent, ragged plumes of red-tinted mist. Blood pooled beneath her shattered thigh—a deep, jagged wound torn open by a Level 3 Mutant's claw.Ten meters away, behind the reinforced titanium blast doors of the shelter, stood two people.Julian—her fiancé of three years. And Chloe—her stepsister. Both of them were dressed in pristine, insulated tactical coats. Their faces were clean, their skin untouched by the ash and toxic rain that had ruined the city for the past two years."Julian... open the door..." Seraphina choked out, her numb, blood-stained fingers clawing at the frozen gravel. "I brought... the Level 2 Gene Serum. I got it... from the center..."Through the external speaker system, Julian’s voice came through, cold and devoid of any human warmth."You're infected, Ser
