~Bianca Pov~
It's been two days, I locked myself in my room. I didn’t eat, I didn’t sleep and all I did all day was lay on the bed staring at the ceiling and feeling nothing but emptiness. My body felt weak and my chest was heavy with guilt and pain. I had betrayed my dead husband, I had sold my dignity, and for what exactly? My stomach churned as the memory of that night flashed through my mind, the kiss, the way our bodies entangled together, everything was crazy, but no one knew his much pain I carried in me after that night. Damien Sinclair. It was like I could still feel his cold hands on me, his piercing blue eyes. The way he had looked at me as if I were nothing. I closed my eyes and felt a tear drop from my eyes. I raised my hand to catch it, I looked at it and felt my eyes tremble. It's funny how I had thought I was saving myself, and Saving the company but I had only lost more of myself. I gripped the blanket tightly, my breath shallow. “What have I done?” I muttered to myself but I Knew no one would give me an answer. A loud noise snapped me out of my daze, it was shrilling and angry making me frown. I bit my lips and flinched, then my body tensed as I heard her voice properly—Cecilia, My mother-in-law. I sighed helplessly as I could hear the sound of her footsteps getting closer, and before I could move, the door burst open. Cecilia stormed in, her face twisted with fury then she suddenly threw a tablet onto the bed and when I looked down in confusion, The screen lit up and I felt my world shattered. I read the text again hoping I had read wrongly “Billionaire Damien Sinclair Spotted with Heiress Bianca Calloway After a Secret Night Together!” Then I saw A video, it was a clip of me leaving Damien’s penthouse! My lips parted, but no words came out, I felt my chest tighten as the truth sank in, it had been exposed! Everyone had seen it. The entire world knew that I had betrayed my dead husband. My head went blank as I looked at the tablet in a daze, “This is what you’ve done!” Cecilia hissed. Her voice was sharp, slicing into me like a knife. “You’ve disgraced us! You’ve destroyed our family’s name!” “I—” My voice broke. “I did it for you. Y..you asked me to do it…” She glared at me viciously, “For us?” She laughed, the sound filled with disgust. “You sold yourself like a common whore. And now, the whole world knows it. Do you want to blame the family for your infidelity?! You bitch! My family feed you and cloth you but this is how you repay us?!” Tears filled my eyes, but I refused to let them fall. “I saved the company,” I whispered. “I did what you asked.” I insisted but she didn't care. Instead, she threw me a sneer and then turned to the maid standing by the door. “Take away her medicine!” She ordered with a cold voice. My heart stopped and I scrambled up and my vision became a blur. “No… No, please—” I pleaded but was interrupted by her smirked “You don’t deserve it.” She said bitingly then left with her head held high. And just like that, my last bit of safety was gone, I looked at her back with dead eyes, my mind blank, I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how things had turned this way, everything was confusing and going the wrong way. I don’t know how long I sat there, is it minutes? Hours? I had stopped counting, then I heard loud whispers from downstairs which were distant, like echoes in a dream. Until—A familiar voice. A voice I was so familiar with that I will never be mistaken was heard, my entire body froze and I felt I was hallucinating because how could it be possible?! I shook my head in panic, “No, it wasn’t possible, Nathan was dead! So how could he be here?!” I thought shakingly then stumbled toward the door with my ragged breath. I stepped into the hallway and I could hear my heart pounding loudly in my ears. Then—I saw him, he was standing in the grand foyer completely fine with smiles on his face, and beside him stood Elena, someone I was familiar with. Her fingers were wrapped around his hand and her body was leaning into his like she belonged there. I felt confused, my brain felt mushy and it was like I was dreaming, My knees went weak, but I forced myself forward. My lips trembled, “Nathan?” My voice was barely a whisper. Then he turned to me. My eyes widened on seeing his face, this was not a dream! This is real! Something inside me snapped and I ran to him, reaching out with the need to touch him, to make sure he was real. But just as I got close, he shoved me away roughly. I stumbled back and felt my body hit the ground. My eyes grew in shock and my hands trembled as I stared up at him with a gasp. I was shocked to see his face twisted with disgust, but I doubted if it was meant for me because my husband would never look at me that way. “I—” My voice shook. “You’re alive? What is going on?!” I asked with a trembling voice. Nathan smirked, “Surprised?” His voice was mocking. My chest tightened, and I felt like I couldn’t breathe, but most of all I felt so confused. “Nathan,” I choked out, “Why?” I asked softly. I watched him let out a low, cruel laugh which sounded strange to me. He looked at me with a strange smile, “Because I never loved you.” The words slammed into me, I felt like I had been stabbed, I shook my head in disbelief, my breath coming in sharp gasps. “No… You’re lying.” Nathan’s smirk widened then he turned to Elena and his hand tightened around hers. “She’s the one I love.” “Huh?!” I asked blankly then felt like the ground was falling beneath me. I pressed my hands to my ears. “Stop! Stop this nonsense! What are you talking about?! Nathan…Don’t do this. I miss you so much!” But he didn’t look like he was joking, he leaned in close with a voice filled with hatred he whispered in my ears, “You were just a tool. A stupid, naive fool who gave me everything, and guess what darling wife?” He asked with a mocking laugh, “I used it to my advantage!” He finished then burst out in wide laughter. I stiffened with my mind ringing with his words, tears poured down my face as my mouth remained open in shock, I couldn’t believe it. I didn’t want to believe it, but then the next words broke me. He kneeled in front of me making sure I looked at me in the eyes, then he grabbed my chin tightly, “You are so stupid! I have waited for this for so long. Yes! I killed your father!” He said then laughed crazily while I looked blankly at him. “I killed him, and guess what?!” He then chuckled, “His foolish daughter refused to go see him before he died and decided to stay with the murderer who pretended to be sick!” He finished up and stood up after throwing away my chin. I didn't move, I said nothing but remained in a daze just staring at the man I had given my all to. But what did he say he did? He killed my father! I suddenly laughed crazily when I remembered how I had chosen to stay with him when my father called me to come see him. I feel so stupid! I have been foolish! “Why?” I asked him calmly. He glared at me and gave me a toothy smile, then the smile turned to rage, “I have always hated you lots! I hated your pride! So what if you are rich? So what if you are the daughter of a billionaire?! Everything is mine now! The company, the money! Everything will be mine!” He yelled crazily. I looked at him like I was looking at a monster, and then I shook my head, “Not when I am alive! It will never be yours, never!” I said coldly. “That is why you need to die today! That's why I arranged everything. I had always wondered why you were still strong when you were sick! So to hasten it, I feed you with a slow-acting poison, and guess what? Today is the day!” He said with a vicious look on his face. Then I suddenly felt a pain in my tummy, it was so painful that I had to hold my tummy and gasp loudly then It suddenly clicked in my head, “What did you do to me, you monster!” I asked with hatred, my red eyes pierced them with so much hatred. “Oh! We put a toxic poison in your tea.” My mother in law said with an indifferent face. My eyes widened as I saw Elena creep down and whisper in my ear, “This is what you get for taking my man and making me wait for him for so long.” She said then smiled creepily and stood up with a gentle smile. I looked at every one of them and laughed crazily, my chest vibrates with so much laughter. I could feel tears pouring out of my eyes and then blood dripping out of my mouth. “Karma will get you! Even if I die, I will make sure I hunt you! I promise! I will take revenge for my father! I will take revenge for everything you have done to me!” I yelled out powerfully even if I was weak. Then I felt my consciousness blurring, then I heard the voice of my mother-in-law, “Son, make the media aware that she had committed suicide as she couldn't bear the guilt and insults on her infidelity!”~Bianca's POV~She was kneeling between his legs.Actually kneeling.I froze. They pulled apart instantly, like teenagers caught mid-secret. Elena's eyes snapped to me, annoyed, as if I'd interrupted something too precious. Damien looked briefly startled… before recovering in a flash, cool and detached like it was nothing. Then, without hesitation, he slid an arm around her waist and pulled her into his lap.Like it was nothing.Like I wasn't even there.Like this was normal. It thrilled her… I could tell by the subtle lift of her chin, the smug curve of her lips. And it infuriated me more than I wanted to admit.I shouldn't feel this way.I shouldn't.But I did.Now she was draped over him, her arms looped loosely around his neck like she belonged there. I sat stiffly across from them in the chair the receptionist had scrambled to pull out for me. My shoulders ached from tension. My pulse was racing. My eyes were locked on his hands—his hands on her waist—and something bitter coiled
~Bianca's POV~Twenty minutes. That's how long I paced in that damn dining room: barefoot, furious, and splintering apart from the inside out.I couldn't stop replaying it. His mouth. His voice. My body. Why had I reacted like that? Why was I still aching for him?Still slick after everything he'd done?I was disgusting.I blamed the red room. I blamed the trauma. I blamed the fact that Nathan hadn't touched me in so long that maybe my body had forgotten what safe pleasure felt like. This wasn't about Damien.Couldn't be.It was just nerves. Confusion. Residual heat.Or at least, that was the lie I wrapped around myself like a blanket.Eventually, I stormed back to my room and got dressed in a plain blouse, dark jeans, and a neutral jacket. No jewelry. Nothing too feminine. I didn't want softness today. I wanted steel.I shoved the pill bottle into my purse and made for the front door. But of course, Martha was already there. Arms folded. Face showing off nothing. Like Damien's ghost
~Damien's POV~I pushed open the door to my office, the familiar scent of polished wood and leather greeting me like an old friend. Sunlight filtered through the tall windows, bathing long lines across the floor as I walked in, feeling... satisfied.Bianca's plan was bold.Using Elena to take down Nathan? Not only was it clever, it was personal. And she'd meant every word. Even if it scorched her to say it. The flicker of jealousy in her eyes had been brief, but it was there. She didn't want to admit it, but I'd seen it.Even better. This was going better than I ever imagined.I shrugged off my suit jacket and draped it neatly over the backrest before sinking into the seat behind my desk.Almost instantly, a knock came at the door."Sir," my assistant's voice came through the door, soft and composed. "Mr. Nathan Hayes is here. He says he's here for your twelve."Sighing, I rolled my shoulders back as I straightened in my seat."Send him in, Jade.""Yes, sir."Heels clicked away down t
~Bianca's POV~Martha's hands moved gently, rhythmically, as she dabbed the cloth along my shoulder, unfazed by the bruises or the raw, trembling skin."From how he was when Sir Herman first brought him in," she murmured in a soft but certain voice, "I can definitely say… this is him being happy."I froze. What? That shut me up completely. How was he when Herman first brought him in?My lips parted to ask, but Martha was already wringing the cloth out, her face smoothing into that calm, blank stillness that told me the conversation was over. A wall I couldn't push through. So I shut my mouth. But my thoughts wouldn't follow.Back in high school, everyone knew Damien, not because he was popular, but because he stood out. Quiet. Odd. Dirt-poor. The kind of boy who wore the same shoes all year and never looked anyone in the eye. A foster kid who eventually slipped through the cracks and onto the streets. Then prom night came… and he disappeared.Vanished. No trace. Like the world swallow
~Bianca's POV~The cuffs dug into my wrists, metal pressing against my skin, blood ebbing slowly. My legs trembled where they were bound, spread wide, muscles cramping from both the heels and the position. My chest rose and fell in ragged breaths.I was helpless. Bare. Burning.Damien stood a few feet away, his shirt discarded, exposing inked muscle and arrogance carved into every inch of him. His gaze devoured me—slow, possessive, devastating. No longer the cold, calculating monster in a tailored suit.He was something else now, and I was his offering. He came forward without a word, his palm dragging up the inside of my thigh—teasing, claiming, spreading the slick already glistening there.A whimper escaped my lips, small and broken, but he didn't speak, his silence was its own form of cruelty."You ache," he murmured. "I can smell it."My throat seized as his fingers trailed downward—between the curves of my breasts, along the dip of my waist, until they hovered over the soaked str
Chapter 15: You Are Mine.~Bianca's POV~The room looked like a velvet-covered nightmare.Dark red walls flickered with shadows, and chains shone under the warm lights, sharp and ready. Leather straps hung in neat lines—some thick, some thin—each one hinting at pain or control. A large X-Cross stood at the far wall with straps at each each, surrounded by shelves filled with gags, ropes, cuffs, and clamps, all laid out like they belonged in a shrine to power and submission. It carried the scent of leather and musk. Of power and sin.A red room.Every inch dared me to kneel. My heels sank into a plush carpet, and my chest tightened. This wasn't just a space—it was an invitation and a warning, a place built to strip you down, body and soul. Then I saw Damien standing by a tall mirror, no longer in a suit but in a white shirt, half unbuttoned to reveal golden skin and the sharp cut of his chest. Dark pants clung to his hips, and he was barefoot, at ease.Dangerous. He looked like he belon
