RYDER'S POV

I sighed for the umpteenth time. I removed my glasses and gently rubbed my eye. I was trying so hard to concentrate and finish what I was doing, but it wasn't working.

My eyes glanced at the clock only to realise that it was already past seven. I hissed again; I practically didn't achieve anything today.

Today felt like a wasted, totally unproductive day, and it was all because of Adira. From the moment I woke up this morning, it was as though my entire day revolved around her.

“First I met her in the hallway threatening to leave, then she called for a meeting and totally pissed me off, and then there was the Dining Hall incident.”

My jaw clenched as I remembered the embarrassment I felt there all over again.
