Chapter 4

Savanah POV

I smiled as I found the necklace in my bag. They see my bag for 3 hours, and luckily, they have not burnt it yet.

I saw the tiny heart shape stone that the girl gave me.

It becomes color pink.

I pick it up, also.

"Are you now feeling good?" Alistair gently asks me. I nodded at them.

They didn't leave my side since I left their father's office.

"Are we being selfish if we ask you not to leave?" I look at them.

"I don't know. Honestly, I feel I'm home in here." I whispered, but I knew they heard it.

"You are welcome here!" Alexander said delightedly.

I just smiled at him.

"Your father didn't want humans. I am a human," Alistair got out and ran.

"Alistair!?" I look at Alexander.

"Probably, he will ask dad about it." I bit my lip.

I handed the rest of my stuff to the maid. I sigh.

I keep the memorabilia in one of the drawers in the room where I am staying.

I put on my necklace with a heart pendant.

I look again at the stone I am holding.

How?

It seems it was made for the necklace.

I opened the heart pendant. Since it is a locket, I put in the heart stone, which is a perfect fit.

What a coincidence,

"Dad will think about it! Yes! He agreed!" I saw Alistair dancing in the entryway. I laugh at him, and he's so cute. Alexander claps his hand.

"Dad says he will think about it. But I know he will agree because that is his excuse, but he will said yes to us." I smiled at them.

My heart seems to like the news also.

"Why do you want me to stay?"

"When we first met you, talk to you and hug you. I feel the warmth of having a mother." Alexander responded.

I hug them both. I feel like they are also part of me. I just can't let them go, also.

"Can we call you mom?" I wanted to say yes.

"It's weird why I feel happy when you ask me that, but we must still honor your mother, kids." They pout.

"But she didn't bring us here on earth. The moon goddess just gave us to dad." My eyebrow met.

"Moon Goddess?"

"Our creator." I nod my head.

"How come?" Alexander signals Alistair that it is his turn to tell the story.

"Our mother died 20 years ago. We also died because she was bearing us. She died because humans betrayed us, the reason why dad hates humans. When Luna dies, the Alpha will lose the power to become a werewolf, but dad stays capable of being a werewolf, and his written fate is still tied up as the King of Werewolves and Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack. The tradition of being an Alpha is to give the crown to the successor. That's why the Goddess offers us to him, but she cannot give the Luna back. "

I feel so sorry for their dad. He just lost his beloved.

"That's why I wanted you to become our mother. We feel a connection to you. We feel your agony and pity. Only our mother should be supposed to feel that. Did you also feel the connection, right mom?"

Out of nowhere, a tear escapes from my eyes. I do feel the connection.

"Why am I connected to you?"

I feel something is off,

"We can go to the oracle!" Alistair suggested.

"Come, mom, we'll go to the oracle!" They drag me out.

We accidentally bump into someone.

"Oops, sorry, daddy." My eyes widen.

My heart is racing so suddenly.

I look into his eyes.

I also feel a connection. What's happening to me?

He breaks the contact and looks at his kids.

"Where are you going?" he asks Alistair.

"To the oracle dad, we will just ask a few questions because we feel connected with our mom!" I feel embarrassed so suddenly.

"Mother?" He says it with anger.

"Yes," Alexander said.

"She's not your mother!" He yelled that making the kids hug me. "She is not and never be! My Luna has already died, your mother! You can't disgrace her by claiming this human is your mother." He looks at me disgusted. I look away because my heart has sunk.

"You can get angry with me, don't yell at your sons. I feel they are scared." I look into his eyes. I don't know why I feel irritated that he shouted at his kids. "That's the reason why they feel alone. They feel you don't care about them even if you give them everything. I can feel their pain, and I don't know why. I know you didn't want me but what about their feelings? You are not the only one suffering here. Think about your children also."

We continued to walk.

I breathed out. How dare he shouts to his children. They felt terrified, I sat down and hugged them.

"You are not alone, and I am here." I comforted them.

I look behind, and he is watching us.

I rolled my eyes at him.

I don't care who he is. I don't like people only thinking about themself.

I know I am not their mother, and calling a stranger a mother is wrong. I understand him, but he didn't let his kids explain. How cruel.

"Let's go?" I smiled at them. They nodded. I held their hands.

"Show me the way!" I cheer them up. I felt relief when they both smiled at me.

We walk up the long staircase. I didn't know that this mansion was so huge. They even give me a tour. That's why I memorize it, for I do not get lost.

We left the main door, and I saw a massive gate.

They yelled at the guard to open it, and the first thing I saw was the busy people- werewolves. They seem normal humans. I smiled.

Everything is modernized.

"Where is the way?" They pointed to a library.

I saw some of them were looking at me. I feel so conscious, so suddenly. I know I am new here. That's why they are looking at me.

They are bowing their heads when we pass, and it hits me. I am holding their princes.

When we entered the library, a mid-40 woman approached us.

"Good morning, princess," she bowed at them. "And to you, madam," I smiled at her.

Her eyes widen,

"You are now here. You may bring good and bad luck. Be aware and swear that you can handle things you were not supposed to. Danger may approach you, and strength may save you. Risking your life again will not put a good end. The history may repeat itself, more painful and no more consideration."

"She's saying a prophecy in no time," Alexander says.

Then the woman suddenly held me in my hand.

"Did you memorize it?" She asked me. I shook my head. I only remember a few.

She looks troubled.

"This is the first time I tell a prophecy with a human. King West will not like the idea."

"I am sorry," I said to her.

"You are extraordinary. You have a great connection in our land. If you come here to ask me why I don't know."

I am starting to question myself.

Why in here? Why do I feel connected?
