***FLASHBACK***

“How about we all go and celebrate this achievement together?” Mason suggested as we all walked out of the elevator leading to the reception hall of the Lenon fits building.

“I think that’s a good idea” Esther replies smiling from ear to ear, obviously smitten by Mason’s good looks.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” I replied, staring daggers into Esther.

Mason read the situation and spoke again.

“It does not have to be a celebration, we can brainstorm some rough ideas on how best to make this work over a few drinks and food”

“Good thinking boss” The guy that came with Mason said.

One of the two men that came with Mason was Mrs Lenon’s personal assistant, this one I’m assuming is Mason’s new personal assistant.

I understood the angle he was coming from, it was reasonable for us to at least sit and discuss a few ideas but I really wasn’t in the mood to entertain him in any way, after all this partnership was just dumped on us.
