“I don’t want to hear it Bella, until I get to the bottom of this and rectify this mess with the blogs, you are not to leave this house!” Chris' voice echoed through my room.

After seeing the way Mason’s number was saved on my phone, Chris didn’t want to hear any reason, anymore. There was nothing I could say to change his perception. For all he cared, I was having an affair with Mason and I had soiled his reputation.

Mason had called to apologize to me for the picture incident on the blogs but as soon as he spoke, Chris took the phone and yelled at him, issuing venomous words of threat to him.

“Chris you can’t do this, what about the contract? At least let me see it through, I worked hard for it.” I pleaded in tears.

“Forget it, Ben will take over from where you stopped.” And with that he slammed the door behind him.

The next few days went by without any hassles, in his fit of rage in the office, Chris had smashed my phone and he wouldn’t even let me leave the house
