AMAIRA
I could feel my heart pound like crazy as I shuffled my feet towards the area where the Alpha sat, hearing Audrey and her friends chuckle ridiculously to themselves.
As I walked close, I prayed. This was probably the last time I was going to be breathing again, because the Alpha would probably think of me as a joke and rip me into pieces, but again I couldn't go against the Alpha's daughter's orders and just had to go along with this.
I spotted several women pausing on the dance floor to turn to me as I got close to where the Alpha sat. My heart pulse quickened and my throat ran dry hearing their hushed whispers as I walked past them.
'Where does she think she's going?'
'I'm not sure. But she's seeking death if she thinks she can seduce the Alpha.'
'Seduce the Alpha. Haha. She's just a common, lowly Omega. She's stupid if she thinks the Alpha will be interested in her kind.'
To worsen the situation, Alpha Damien had long paused his discussion with his Beta, Raiden, to stare at me. I couldn't tell if it was amusement I saw in his eyes, but those midnight blue shades didn't leave mine as I approached him, and I don't know why I felt a boiling sensation burbling in my heart I got close.
My knees felt weak, and staring him right in the eyes was all it took for me not to faint across the floor because even the elders were looking at me now with bewirlded expressions.
The sound of my footstep stop as I glanced up at him.
"A- Alpha D-D- Damien" I began stuttering and the women burst out laughing behind me. I swear I could hear Audrey laughing the loudest. Tears welled up in my eyes and I tried to force my feet out of the place, but I had to complete the dare or I would be punished. "Would you care to dance?"
There was silence as everyone waited, probably waiting for the Alpha to tear me into shreds or laugh in my face, but it didn't happen.
Actually he just kept staring at me, and my eyes dropped to the ground as I waited for his reply or reaction, my palms sweating.
"Okay." His reply came and I snapped my head up to look at him.
Okay?
Was he serious?
Maybe he was waiting for the right time to tell me he's joking and probably laugh in my face like I expected, but that didn't happen.
Instead, in the presence of several eyes and dropped jaws, he alighted from his chair and stretched his hand in my direction.
I was torn between what to do now as I felt angry gazes boring holes into my back.
How come the only woman who dared to ask the Alpha for a dance was an Omega slave and he readily accepted!
I was sure I was going to earn enemies after today, but then again the Alpha's hand was still on the air as he waited for me, an intense look in his eyes as if daring me to reject him and bear the consequences.
Shyly, I put my hands in his, and the music which stopped few minutes ago is turned back on and he leads me to the dance floor, women quickly making way for us on feeling his aura spread across his body.
I knew he was exerting his aura, but i wondered why I felt no effect from it.
"I- I don't know how to dance." I said, my breath hitching up in my throat on feeling his arms slip around my waist, pulling me close.
My heart beat quickened and I felt hot as emotions began swirling in my eyes pushing me to fall into his arms and be his, but I retrained myself, aware that Audrey and her friends were shooting daggers at me with their eyes from the corner.
He chuckled darkly
"You asked me to dance and now you're saying you can't dance? Were you forced to do this?"
"N- No." I whisper and follow his lead as he glides across the dance floor In graceful movements with me in his arms, not paying heed to the eyes boring holes at our backs but to me.
He was quite tall, so I almost strained on my toes to place my hands on his shoulders.
I remember Laura asking me to flirt with the Alpha after asking him to dance but I didn't know what else to say as we danced to the music, and I got intoxicated with the scent of him.
He smelled like forest and dark caramel apples.
"You seem to have something to say." He said and I'm shocked that he noticed. When I glanced up, I gasped on seeing his blue eyes in mine and quickly glanced down. His eyes close up were so blue, it was like different shades of blue swirling around in them.
"Your party is nice." I say and almost face palm myself.
Your party is nice?
What kind of crap is that?
He smirked and my heart swells up for no reason on seeing the glint in his eyes.
"Is that all you want to say?"
I didn't say anything else, wishing the floor could swallow me up.
"I think the women around us aren't given enough privacy to talk. Why don't we head someone private" He suggested, and before I could protest, he was pulling me away from the hall room and I reluctantly followed him without a choice because his grip around my wrist was like an immovable vice.
The hallway was luxurious and decorated lavishly, but I didn't have the luxury of time to admire them because he was pulling me into a luxurious furnished room.
Before I could comport myself, he had already shut the door, leaving us alone In the room.
He took a step close to me and I stepped back.
Amused, he kept moving and I kept stepping back until I suddenly lost my footing and fell against the bed.
Oh no.
I was trapped in a room with the ruthless Alpha.
AMAIRA "A- Alpha." I gasped when his huge frame almost crushed mine as he towered above me on the bed. He suddenly grabbed my chin and forced me to glance up so that our eyes met together and I couldn't look away because he was holding me. I could feel his knee holding me down and another between my thighs, sending a throbbing sensational feelings up my legs. I felt hot and undeniably uncomfortable, but I couldn't escape his grip even after struggling."When we are alone, you can call me Damien." "I am nothing but a lowly servant. I can't call you by your name." I said pleadingly and he cocked a brow. "You didn't consider your status when you asked me to dance." I was considering telling him I was dared to, but I didn't know how he'd react to it so I just blankly stared at him. "What is your name and whose daughter are you?" "I'm Amaira," My voice was shaky as I answered him. "I'm the personal slave of Miss Audrey, daughter of the Alpha of Moon Claw's pack. I don't have a fam
DAMIEN I wasn't in compliance with the party the elders were planning to set me up with my mate, but I did let them for the sake of peace in my pack. If they wanted to so badly find me a mate, then let them. I was sitting there, watching as women of all sizes and influential families trooped in dressed to kill. I admit they were beautiful and lavishly dressed, but I was no mood to be swoon over them. I only saw them as tools of pleasure, but tonight I was going to find my mate and I hoped this party was not in vain. We've invited the entire packs here and it's late into the party and I haven't found 'the one'. What's more amusing is that despite the women are all there staring at me like they wanted to hook up with me right there on the dance floor, no one was bold enough to approach me. I know I have a reputation as the most ruthless and aggressive Alpha alive, but how was I supposed to consider making anyone woman here my Luna if they were scared of me?As I scanned the area,
AMAIRA I woke up with a sore feeling between my legs as I groggily open my eyes, and I suddenly gasp on seeing the patch of blood on the bed, and I'm reminded of what I did last night with Alpha. Oh no. It's morning. I was so dead. I was so dead. I kept chanting to myself that Alpha Henry was going to kill me for not arriving home with his daughter. I just hoped Audrey was okay. How could I be so careless as to offer myself to the Alpha? I contemplated on leaving quickly but I decided to take a bath and scrub myself clean of the Alpha's scent because the last thing I'd want anyone to know is that I rolled around in the sheets with the Alpha of Silver fur's pack. When I step out dressed in a robe, I grimace at the shredded clothes on the floor, wondering what else I'm going to wear when the door opened up and I see an Omega bearing a handful of clothes. "The Alpha demands your prescence in the dining room after you must have gotten dressed. I'll take you there." I stared at th
AMAIRA I grunted in pain as the men simultaneously carried me off to the dungeon, digging their fingers into my arm. I knew they loved this. They loved torturing me, loved seeing me in pain because they knew they could hurt me and I wasn't capable of fighting back, I wasn't capable of defending myself or standing up to them. I was a nobody. I groaned in pain as they mercilessly threw me into the dungeon and I landed face down on the cold ground. After the clanging of chains as they locked me in, they walk away, chuckling with mirth, and I just lay weakly on the floor, more bothered about the sore wound in my mouth causing the insides of my cheeks to burn than the growling feeling if hunger in my stomach. If it were anyone else, I'd have gladly eaten breakfast with Damien, but he was a goddamn Alpha, and I wasn't stupid enough to share the same place he ate in. "He is your mate." I hear a voice in my head. Normally, I'd be excited that I could finally talk to my wolf, and that
AMAIRA"Shut the door when you come in." I hear her cold voice as I limp in, and I shudder before shutting the door closed behind me. "Does it hurt?" She asked with a mocking smile as she drank some expensive wine from a wine glass, her legs crossed over the bed. "No, Luna Tessa." I solemnly shake my head, keeping my head lowered to the ground, not daring to look her In the eyes. "Well, have a sit... we've got all night to talk," I gulp. "I hear you were with Alpha Damien last night." I trembled where I stood, not daring to get too comfortable with the Luna by sitting before her. "I- It's not like that Luna Tessa." I tried to explain, but I found myself tongue tied. How could I possibly expose her daughter's intentions to humiliate me yesterday by asking me to flirt with the Alpha? If this news get to Alpha Henry, her father, he would kill her, because the greedy Alpha wanted to build meaning connections with Alpha Aiden by offering his daughter to him. The Luna suddenly got up
AMAIRAThe next day, I wake up feeling lightheaded and sore everywhere as I freshened up and put on my clothes. "I won't stay here and watch you commit such an atrocity today. How can you sit here and trick your own mate into planting his seeds into another woman." My wolf, whose name was Olivia berated me as I joined the other omegas in cleaning the house, ensuring everywhere was sparkling clean since Alpha Damien of Silver fur's pack was coming in today and we needed to welcome him in hospitably. "I do this, or die. I don't have a choice, and I personally think Alpha Damien deserves someone like Audrey and not me" I ignore her after that and take some breakfast up to Audrey's room. Now that I knew, I could tell the person she was speaking so sweetly to over the phone was her boyfriend, and even though she had been an evil witch to me these past few years, I knew the feeling of being tricked Into doing something you didn't like and regretting it later. "Go clear my bathroom of my
Amaira. There were sounds of spoons and several cutleries softly scratching against the plate as they quietly ate in the dining room. Audrey flashed a small smile in Alpha Damien's direction but he ignored her and resumed talking with her father, Alpha Henry. Rolling her eyes, she looked back down at her food. ".. So I was thinking you could aid my men with yours in guarding the borders that connect us with the rogues, because I've been hearing reports about them finding their way into my pack for the past week and causing problems." Alpha Henry said while Alpha Damien listened half-heartedly. Once in a while an Omega would troop in to bring in dessert or some water, and he would glance up, expecting it to be Amaira, only for his hopes to get crushed on realizing it was no other than some other person. No one did notice what he was doing except his Beta, Raiden and Luna Tessa who smirked when she realized that the only reason Alpha Damien wanted to grace this meeting with his pre
AMAIRA I was in the kitchen, standing at the corner, waiting for the Omegas to serve dinner before leaving to their servant quarters. I was wearing a knee length summer gown and a shawl which Luna Tessa gave me to hide the bruises around my body. I needed to be alone before I did whatever I planned to. "I'm proud of you, Amaira." Olivia said and I shut my eyes tight as If gathering the courage to do whatever I was planning to. "Don't bet on it." I say with a sigh, glad she was supportive of what I was doing. These past few hours, we've really bonded together. Our only argument was Alpha Damien. She wanted him, but I didn't. Soon, the Omegas were done serving our guests, and they all left to the servant quarters, leaving me alone to serve them the drinks. I couldn't tell my why my heart was pounding against my chest, threatening to tear through and drop to the ground. Was it because I was scared of what I was about to do, or because I was mesmerized and completely enchanted b
